Because it’s political and will cause more fights among forum members.
Fights will happen on any thread. It is mods' job to moderate and ensure a personal attack free discussion happens on any thread.
That doesn't mean you muzzle the entire topic altogether. That is a sign of weakness and incompetence.
And this is related to Bollywood because BW actors are talking about something extremely important and critical happening in our country.
If the logic is, it is not related to cinema - many topics on general subjects like rape, relationships of actors and other personal matters are always discussed here. So that logic won't float.
Rules are rules. You can't conveniently twist them when it suits you.
It has been shifted to Debate Mansion, me and Billi are still discussing.

When a celeb posts ANY tweets that can remotely lead to Pakistan bashing, those threads are kept there anand go on for
50-60 pages
But when it came to modi/India bashing, the thread was shifted to debate mansion as soon as it was made lol
