The surprise
Restless Sameer wondering around entire school, just to have a glimpse of his lady love NAINA.
He couldn't sleep the whole night, only kept thinking about her.
Suddenly he clashed with preeti.
"Oye, dekhkar chalna nhi aata", she busted out with anger, then stopped at once after realising with whom she clashed.
'Arre, jijaji, kanha the?, Kabse dhundh rahi thi main aapko?", she fired all the questions one after another.
"Achha, yeh Aapke liye", Preeti handover a chit to Sameer
"Yeh kya hai", he asked while holding the chit.
"Love letter aur main usse laane wali kabootar", she flattered her hands like wings.
Sameer doesn't pay any attention to her humour, as he was busy in opening the letter from Naina.
Preeti realised that she has been ignored by Sameer.
"Side character ki koi value hi nhi hai", she said while leaving Sameer alone with his love msg.
Sameer desperately opened the chit and his eyes lightened after reading the msg.
"Ek mauka kho Gaya toh kya
Dusara hai abhi haath mein
Intezar mein tumhare hun bekarar
Aao Kuch pal beetaye Saath mein"
A smile started from corner of his lips, become wider and wider with each and every line written on it.
Then he read the end of msg :
Wanha jahan main chahkar bhi tumhara haath nhi tham paayi....tumhe uthane ke liye Sahara nhi de paayi
It reminded Sameer when he was competing with Arjun for head boy post and during the cricket match, he fell down.
Naina was there, she forwarded her hand but couldn't hold his.
"Playground", he smiled and moved toward the playground.
Naina was standing in the corner.
When Sameer reached behind her. She slowly turned toward him. A sweet smile on her face. Her eyes were twinkling like stars.
Calm, compose, innocent and beautiful.
One look of Naina can make Sameer forgot all his problems.
He hold her both hand in his, then first looked at the handhold and then slowly lift his eyes up to look at Naina.
With a soft pull move her more closer to himself.
Then bent a little.
Then slowly he whispers, "I love you"
Naina smile and lower her head, then lift up and looked back at him.
With the same smile she replied," I love you too, Sameer".
Again lost in each other they were standing there for a while.
Then a drop on Naina's cheek grab her attention.
Both looked at the sky.
Soon the droplet turned into rain.
"Barish?" Naina surprised with raining as it wasn't rainy weather.
"Naina chalo warna bheeg jaayenge", Sameer hold her hand and drag her toward a shed.
Naina was trying to collect the droplet in her palm. She was continuously looking at the sky.
"Aaj ki date bhi gayi", along with his voice, Sameer heart also dropped.
"Ab baarish Aaye ya tufan, yeh date toh hokar rahegi", Naina said confidently looking at Sameer.
