Why is Nanu against Mishti and Abhir alliance??

i dont get what iff meenu didnt ask for Mishtis hand for Abhir and we know she doesnot want mishti in the family. so why was Nanu angry with Abhir he already know about Abhir mishtis relation. So what if its official. Why is he not happy for Abhir. Meenu Kunal we can understand. Mami and Mama also i can understand for them its shock. But why nanu is not accepting Mishti as bahu of the family.

Why was he angry...he was disappointed as he was the first person who realized that abir loved mishti and he pushed abir so much to make him realize..and nanu holds an imp place in abir's life so the rishta proposal would have been in his presence and he should have initiated it...but it was done by baba(who just came into abir's life) that is why he was disappointed..

In joint families the elder of the family fix the rishta , they give the official stamp😆 Just like how BP is the elder there
