I was expecting this and also think 1984 anti -Sikh riots will be featured.

Initially, I had zero interest in Forest Gump remake, but with some updates, and info I realized what the script could be about and what might have excited Aamir.  

Laal Singh Chadda will track the religious and political topography of India via his journey and I think it will also feature the 'despondency' that Aamir had talked about, at least that's what I expect. 

In short, it isn't Forest Gump, but quite simply Aamir Khan's journey and how he has seen Indian nationalism change over the year. Don't know about box-office, but there is likely to be massive controversy around its release for sure. Would be surprised otherwise. I am expecting it to be the most politically charged movie in Aamir's career. 

I was least interested when I heard Aamir was remaking Forrest Gump. But Barbari Masjid and Modi government has me totally intrigued about Laal Singh Chadda now. Go Aamir ❤️
