Hi,

I like Shahid Kapoor. He is talented and a good actor.

But how does he still get solo leads? Unlimited disasters and flops. Some other actor would have been wiped off by now.

Insider and there are some idiots who think he is still a youngster, so they are like ''Ladke mai talent hai, next SRK''. Plus there is another breed of fool who think he was equally responsible for Padmavat's success.

He does have a loyal fan base , and gives good performances when the script supports.if you forget about padmavat,he was fabulous in udta Punjab.

And I just say batti Gul on tv , and he was good in that one too, even though the story sucked.

But doesn't look young any longer, I feel like he has suddenly aged a lot, plus his lips look like srk's some times , even though he ain't a smoker.weird.

And he ain't the only one getting solo leads after flops , there are many others.

must be for his parents. I too fail to understand how he gets solo projects. his face is weird. neither too young nor too mature. so may be he still fits in the mid age bracket.but he has no usp.

I never understood why producers want to suffer loss over loss by casting him😕

Just like how Saif, Abhishek, Emraan, Farhan, etc., are still getting roles despite numerous flops. Maybe not solo films but bollywood needs performers like Shahid and above mentioned actors who bring their best in every role. There is a reason why guys like Imran Khan or Neil Nitin Mukesh fizzled out quickly.

Despite being a flop actor, Shahid has a decent fan following and even though he's egoistic, he does have good connections in the Industry. Having good connections and PR is the biggest advantage for any actor. You don't want to be friends with people..Don't but your PR should be rocking enough.

Emraan has nearly finished maybe one or two movies. Abhishek and Saif don't get solo leads unless its franchise or their own production. Same cannot be said for Shaahid. Plus you can also see the quality of films he gets. On paper they aren't bad.

Imran Khan was horrible. How he survived for so long is beyond me. Arjun Kapoor is next to go for good

Bcoz he is a good actor.

Bcoz his movies haven't made huge losses.

His performance has always been appreciated.

He has a good fan base and his offline personality doesn't evoke any extreme reactions from people.

His offline personality does evoke extreme reactions. I see most people on Bollywood forums to be put off by his arrogant cocky attitude except for his fans maybe.

Not only that even most people I have met in real life who I have discussed him with seem to despise him for the same.
