Tamannaah Bhatia who was last seen in SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali, recently in an interview revealed her opinions on #MeToo movement that started last year and shared that she thinks that it has eventually turned into a PR ploy.
Tamannah who has worked with Sajid Khan (accused of sexual harassment in #MeToo) in his two films, Himmatwala and Humshakals, in an interview with Pinkvilla, revealed that she was never treated in a bad way and was completely comfortable working with the director.
As reported earlier, Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women from and outside the industry. The news came as a shocker when a few actresses revealed about their horrific encounter with the director.
Post the allegation against him, Sajid was asked to step down as the director of Housefull 4 which stars many big actors.
During an interview, when Tamannaah was asked if it was shocking for her to hear about it, she said: "You know there were different allegations made on different people and I think the whole idea of me too movement was to get people to talk about it and share their experiences.
If there is an experience that someone had and if they are talking about, it takes a lot of courage to do that.
But somewhere I feel the #MeToo moment lost its gush because it became more of a PR ploy which shouldn't have been. It should have been given its due respect and should have been treated with more serious sense and more serious note."
