The story will start five years later from the ending of the web-series, Tanhaiyaan.

Five years
have passed after getting married, years passed, things have changed, and
country has changed, so as the relationship of Haider and Meera.
In start,
the love life looks like a strawberry cake with icing on it of fruits, but
after passing years it becomes as complicated as physics. Haider and Meera were
not apart from the reality of life, it has happened with them as well.
They were
settled in New York and work has held them tightly, as they did not get time
for each other, what time? They have not similar thoughts for each other, after
all it was reality of life.
Haider's POV:
Woho! It
is mine and Meera's fifth anniversary, everything was organized by Meera, I have
just wrote the quotes and shayaris on the heart shaped papers and sheets, as
always, this was HER opinion, but maaan, grow up writing is not child's job,
well who tell her.
"Hey, Meera! You are looking gorgeous girl, An American guy complimented my wife and I overheard it.
I came near her and slipped my hand in her waist, "Yeah! But she is mine
She rolled her eyes, I noticed and frowning, the guy left the spot.
Meera kept my hand aside, "do you have any idea who was he?
"No. but whoever is he cannot ", I objected but she interrupted in between, "he was just complimenting me, tumhari biwi tumse leke nahi ja raha tha wo
"Oh yeah!, I taunted her when she organized her hair.
"Yes. He was younger brother of my boss and I was just---", before she could say anything I understood, "impressing him
"Haider!, she clenched her jaw and left the spot.
Meera's
POV:
I am one of the strongest women but tears filled in my eyes when my own husband
alleged me of impressing another guy, it was insulting.
I wiped my tears when I realized a tap on my shoulder, "Yes!, and turned back when I found my so called husband.
"I am sorry, he apologized.
"Huh! Are you?, I sarcastically taunted.
"Yes I am. Tumhe pata hai kabhi kabhi main jyada bol deta hoon, he said practically.
"Ok. That's fine, I forgive him genuinely after all he was genuinely sorry.
"We were trying to be okay when one of our neighbor came to taunt us.

"Meera and Haider, the perfect couple of the party", A lady in her late 30s complimented them when they were enjoying a party.
Haider kissed her cheek and she too responds her with a broad smile.
"Perfect couple? No wrong term", the guy in his late 30 s interrupted and with which HaiRa's smile vanished.
"Party ki jaan, raunak hain dono", which again creep a smile on their lips.
"Let's go home darling, it is too late", Meera requested Haider.
"Jo hukum aapka meri jaan", he agreed and they left.

"Was there any need to overact?", Meera organized her hair and asked him while jumping in the car.
Haider rolled his eyes, "What did I do?"
"That bloody kiss, it always makes me uncomfortable", Meera sheepishly said.
"Then why did you smile? Mujhe bhi shauq nahi hai, bas dosto ke samne naatak karna padhta hai", Haider too shrieked off.
She rolled her eyes, "Whatever", and took a deep breath looking other side than his and he too concentrated on the driving.

Haider's POV:
"Before 5 years, we were so comfortable in kissing each other, privately, publicly or whatever, but what has changed now?, I thought while driving.
I pressed my lips, "Not only our relationship, we too have changed, JAAN was this the word of my dictionary? Never. But I pretended to be too nice to my wife, after knowing that the neighbor was so aware of our relationship, I bit my lip and noticed that she too was thinking something.
"What are you thinking?, I asked Meera.
"Huh! Haan main aaj ke mail ke bare mein soch rahi thi, she tensely replied.
"Mail? What mail?, I asked her.
She licked her lips tensely, "American government has denied to give us divorce because we have Indian marriage certificate, she declared the bad news.
"I know that. Kuch naya sunao, I shrieked the news off.
She rolled her eyes and said sarcastically, "Oh really! Nayi news sun paoge?
"Bolo, I asked.
"Avantika and Sid have called us for their anniversary, and that too in India, she declared and I jerked the car off screeching on the road.
Meera's POV:
"OMG! Yaha neighbors se to jhagada chupta nahi hai, friends se kaise, he worriedly said.
I sarcastically said, "Ab tum socho, muh kholne se pehle, ke kaise jhagda chupana hai
"Hmmm, he hummed and bit his finger.
He asked tensely, "When we have to leave
"Sunday, I replied.
"Do you mean kal?, he asked shockingly.
"All your fault, pehle nahi bata sakti thi?, he blamed me totally.
"Yahan bhi meri galati hai na?, I glared him.
------
And they kept on fighting with each other when they realized a car was giving
horn from umpteenth minute and they had to leave for the home.
