Kalyani, Anupriya's daughter is her reason to live, her reason of happiness. If she had Kalyani in her life Anupriya was happy. If Kalyani was happy she did not need anything else in her life. The pain of the past, the pain caused by Kalyani's birth parents had begun to subside ever since she came into Anupriya's life. All she prayed for was for Kalyani to be happy in her life. Kalyani at the tender age of 18 years had experienced many highs and lows. Anupriya was her daughter's strong protector like the mountains protect our country. She gave Kalyani shade when the latter was bearing the burns from Malhar's anger. Her heart was as vast as the ocean which welcomed Kalyani and hid her inside it like the ocean hides the natural treasures. She truly loved and treasured Kalyani. Likewise, Anupriya had become everything for Kalyani too. Whatever it was, however it was formed, Kalyani had a relationship with Malhar. She had her husband and their son, Moksh. Malhar had been harsh towards her, he had hated her, he had tortured her but one thing she thought she was blessed with was that Malhar did not abandon her. Anupriya, her mother was abandoned by her husband, Kalyani's father even before she was born. Kalyani, an innocent unborn life had been stamped as the reason of Anupriya being left all alone in this world. She had relatives but they were just in name. She was not alone but she was lonely. Kalyani wanted to snatch away that loneliness and fill her mother's life with happiness and bring what she lost 18 years ago, marital bliss.

Malhar and Kalyani had joined hands to find a suitable life partner for Anupriya. Kalyani had registered Anupriya's profile on a matrimonial site. It had been a month and half since the registration but they had no success. Almost every night they sat together to search for a suitable match. Malhar and Kalyani were going through the options of suitable candidates. "Kalyani, tum bhi na ye choice hai tumhaari? "Kyun Malharji kya buraai hai inmein? Kalyani agreed with him.

She quickly lowered her eyes and he looked away.  Malhar and Kalyani were too busy amongst themselves sharing cute, angry, irritating glances to have noticed Sarthak Anupriya's eye contact. He thought he would have felt weird if Anupriya or Sarthak would know about it.

"Kalyani, kitna time. Kahan the tum dono! Anupriya asked in a worrying yet angry tone. "Haan bhai tumhaari aayi ko yahan mere saath akele tum dono ke bina bilkul accha nahi laga raha tha. Sarthak agreed after making them promise that he would treat them next. The two agreed and said that they would definitely make him give them a big treat. Sarthak drove with Malhar in the passenger seat next to him. Kalyani and Anupriya sat in the back. Sarthak adjusted the rear view mirror and accidently Anupriya saw her image in it. Their eyes met for a second then both looked away. "Kaka chalen? "Malhar asked. "Haan haan chalo. Sarthak keyed in the ignition. Malhar and Kalyani exchanged look through the rear view mirror.

That night,

Kalyani and Anupriya were near the LOC of Ahilya Nivas. "Kalyani, aaj jo tumne kiya hai na waisa dobaara kabhi mat karna. "Maine kya kiya aai? "Mujhe akela chodkar gayi thi tum.
