KalMa OS: Addiction
Malhaar was about to enter his room after working on a typical case whole day only to hear his wife cum trouble more's voice.
Kalyani was talking to her college mate Palak over the phone.
K: Palak nahi yaar! Mujhe nahi jaana kisi college trip pe na is baar and naahi next time! Mujhe manane ka koi faayda nahi hai! Tum bas apna time waste kar ri ho... Marey Malhaar ji se puchu kyu mai jab mujhe khud hi ni jaana...
He heard her! Though he didn't really like eavesdropping but sometimes it happens unintentionally like today!
He quickly shoved away his thoughts and cleared his throat to let her know of his presence.
K: Palak mai tujhse baad mei baat karti hu.. bye..
She quickly cut the call and turned to see him entering the room.
He stopped near her.
M: kiska phone tha Kalyani?
K: woh meri dost ka..
M: aur kis liye kiya tha call usne?
K: woh aise hi Malhaarji bas timepass!
M: accha..
He asked sarcastically and she shivered!
K: Malhaarji mai kitchen mei jaati hu..
She said trying to run away and she successfully turned to leave but he held her hand!
K: ji Malhaar ji?
She said again turning towards him.
M: tum college trip pe ja rahi ho aur iske aage mai koi arguement ya dialoguebaazi nahi sunna chahta.
She was about to argue but since he gave his last word she decided to ignore him!
K: mai kitchen mei jaati hu...
She went away, he too changed to his normal clothes and moved out of his room to see her and Mai discussing something, standing the border wall of the house. He rolled his eyes at this and went to take Moksh from Atya's room.
Next day he gave her some money to her
M: ye lo Kalyaani, ye tumhaari trip hai na uske liye..
K: par Malhaar ji
M: Kalyani behas mat karo ab. Aur rahi baat Moksh kisi to mai uska khayaal rakhlunga..
She nodded her head.
K(in mind): Malhaarji ji aap Moksh ka to khayaal rakhlenge but aapka khayaal kon rakhega..
Lekin is atom bomb kucch sunta bhi to nahi hai.
He waved his hand in front of his eyes!
M: Kalyaani!
K: j.. Jii
M: kaha kho jaati ho?
K: nahi wo kuchh nahi..
He sighed and went to police station. A few days later she went to the trip finally. She was constantly pleading to him to not let her go and even made silly plans but of course he would not fall so easily!
Currently Malhaar was sitting on his bed in his room of course, with Moksh in his lap.
M: Moksh finally tumhaari aayi chali gayi.. Ab ham khub maze karenge taaki tum use zada miss na karo.
Moksh giggled as Malhaar tickled him.
M: tumhe to pata hai na Moksh kisi abhi wo college mei hai aur uske liye wo sab karna bohot zaruri hai jo ki normal bacche karte hai haalaki wo bohot strong hai aur har situation ko handle kar sakti hai but hai to wo normal ladki na.. Lekin uski samajh mei yeh baat kaha aayi hogi! Abhi bhi mujhe suna ri hogi ki Maine use kyu bheja!
He sighed thinking about her silly talks! And got busy playing with Moksh. A day went like this he got really stressed because Moksh was literally crying so loud and that too continously! Everybody tried but couldn't stop Moksh's crying.
Aau saheb: agar kalyaani...
K: kalyaani is waqt nahi hai so behtar hoga ki aap use yaad na kare..
He said in a strict tone and took moksh outside for a walk! Though seeing lights moksh stopped crying and eventually slept.
M: Mujhe himmat se kaam lena hoga...
He sighed!
And two days passed like this! Malhaar and Moksh both got cranky and moody as Kayaani was not by there side.
Next day, in night:
Kalyaani went to outhouse first to meet her aayi..
A: kalyaani tum yaha itni jaldi kaise aayi?
K: aayi wo to Maine chakkar chalaya taaki mai waha se chut saku.
And then she told her how she hit a boy who was behaving inappropriately with a girl and as a result got a punished to go back home that she happily accepted.
A: Kalyaani tum bhi na.
K: arey isme meri kya galti? Kisi ke saath galat hote kaise dekhti mai? Aakhir ACP Malhaar Rahe ki patni jo hu!
A: wo to hai! Waise tumhe pata hai tumhare jaane ke baad tumhare bete aur pati ne pura ahilya niraash sari pe uth rakha tha..
K: huh?? Kaise aayi?
A: ek ka rona ni khatm ho ra tha aur dusre ka chillana..
Kalyaani giggled!
K: sacchi Aayi?
A: aur ni to kya! Malhaar ye baat maane ya na maane but use tumhaari aadat hone lagi hai Kalyaani!
K: aur pillu ne bhi pareshaan kiya hoga unhe!Accha aayi mai unko dekh ke aati hu!
A: haan haan jao..
Kalyaani noticed that her aayi was teasing her still she went away because she equally missed both father and son too.
She peeked in to see both Malhaar and Moksh sobbing!
M: Moksh beta please ro nahi! Agar tum roge to baba ko bhi rona aa jayega..
As if he understood he stopped crying a bit..
M: mujhe pata hai tum apni aayi ko miss kar re ho par mai kya karu? Uski bhi apni zindagi hai. Ham use zindagi bhar thodi na baandh ke rakh sakte hai.. Ek na ek din to use jaana padega isliye abhi se aadat daal le to behtar hoga...
He wiped off his own tears and then Moksh's too.
Kalyaani who witnessed the scene got angry that how can her Malhaar ji think of leaving her?
She marched inside!
K: Malhaar ji aap aisa soch bhi kaise sakte hai ki aap mujhe chod denge! Aapke dimaag mei khayaal aaya kaise?
She took Moksh from him.
M: Kalyaani tum yaha kaise?
K: topic mat badaliye aap! Meri zindagi hi aap dono aur Aayi hai! Aap logo se dur kaha jaungi mai? Huh?
M: lekin Kalyaani..
K: koi lekin wekin nahi Malhaar ji that's full and final! Argue mat kijiye aap samjhe?
M: accha Kalyaani theek hai! Mai aaj ke baad kabhi aisi baat nahi karunga! Sorry!
K: haan ab theek hai!
M: ab agar tumhara sunana hogaya ho toh bataogi ki yaha kya kar rahi ho tum? I mean tum toh 7 din baad aane waali thi!
She told him the same story which she told Aayi!
M: Kalyani tum bhi na...
He laughed making her and pillu giggle too! And thus it was just like one happy family!
