Vijay Varma is one of the many strong supporting actors who had a huge part in making Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy successful. In the film, Varma played the role of Moeen (a drug peddler) and the best friend of Murad (Ranveer Singh). Throughout the journey of filming Gully Boy, Vijay had a good time and he saw the silent side of the Padmaavat actor on the sets. Having said that, before Gully Boy, Vijay also worked with the megastar Amitabh Bachchan Pink which was critically acclaimed. Needless to say, working with two fine actors of Bollywood was an enriching experience for Vijay.

Few days after the release of Gully Boy, we had an interesting chat with the actor. During the same conversation, when we asked Vijay about his individual experience of working with Amitabh Bachchan and Ranveer Singh, he was quick to point out similarities between the two.

Elaborating on those similarities, Vijay said, "There is a common thread between both these fine fine gentlemen and actors. It is their commitment to the work that they are doing- the scenes and the script. They are completely in and out. Bachchan sahab knew the script in and out and so did Ranveer. They are so supportive of their co-stars and extremely generous. This are the common links that I found between both of them." That's sweet, we say!

Talking about working with Ranveer, Vijay further revealed that he saw the quiet side of the actor on the sets of Gully Boy as compared to the over-enthusiastic Ranveer that we always see. We would definitely like to know more about Ranveer's quiet side some day from the actor himself.
