The Aussies are very aggressive. It was Ganguly who first dared to give back as good as he got to them. Virat follows his footsteps. Gentlemanly cricket does not apply Down Under. Its as plain as that.
N Shah should stick to actors and leave cricket to those who know how to really play the game. 😆

people also had issues with Sourav. I remember how every one used to hate him at one point.

thing is people didn't had social media during those time.

Plus Sourav gained massive sympathy since that Chappel incident.

Anyways Kohli is too much demonized by people who have zilch knowledge of cricketing culture and its elements. yeh logo ko Sledging ka matlab bhi nahi pata hoga. Lekin ayenge apni tipani dene.

I doubt Kohli gives two hoots about what Shah thinks, h e is not some NSD ka student who will give utmost importance to what Mr. Shah thinks or says. 😆

Quoting from
".. Those who think cricket is a gentlemen's game live in an age where men in suits, stiff collars and hats would sit in the lawns of the Lord's and applaud cricketing shots with a gentle "well played, sir."

For Indians, the sun set on that British tradition the day Sourav Ganguly took off his shirt in the balcony of the Lord's and announced the arrival of the bad guy who knows how to win. That day, after India won the NatWest Series final, we dumped the self-defeating, polite-verging-on-the-apologetic brand of captaincy. Kohli is just a natural product of that process. Don't try to reverse it.

...

If Virat is aggressive and wins the game, we call it passion. If he is aggressive and loses a game, we call it bad behaviour. As fans and commentators, we have to make up our minds on what we want Kohli to do. We can't like a bit of him here and hate a bit of him there because he is every bit the same Kohli, win or lose. Plain aggression... "

When Virat was new he clearly had an aggressive nature, with swearing all the time.

I thought he had calmed down now.

Naseeruddin Shah's acting brilliance pales beside his arrogance and bad manners.

Lol it seems like he hasn't watched cricket in past. Akhtar, Gambhir, Afridi, Botham, Warner all of them are worse than him
