If Saif and Kareena aren't willing to do anything not much grandma can do. Didn't Kareena say it would be wrong to stop the media attention because it comes from a place of love or something like that? I don't think his parents really want to stop this, they just give lip service every few months when there is some loud criticism against them, and then back to business for them. No pun intended.
