Avatar Dimensions?

Hi

I need a help. Can anyone tell me what should be dimensions of Avatar for a slideshow?? I know that the size shld not be more than 40KB..Can anyone help with the dimensions??

i think it can go more than 100 x 100 cuz i have tried b4
and i hope the size can be more than 40 kb..maybe 80 - 90 kb
