Unless you don't live outside of India, Hotstar isn't available abroad.

Hotstar isn't free in the US. If you have Dish Network then you can watch shows on TV with subtitles.
Sometimes I watch shows on desi-serials.tv...They don't have subtitles though. I haven't been able to find a website that has subtitles.

Hotstar is available in Europe and US too. I'm using the US one. But they upload 13 hours on-air in India. By the time they upload we watch in atleast once online.
