Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo actress Parvati Vaze is now engaged. This seems to be the year of love. Wedding are on a deluge and stars from both our Btown and telly industry are getting hitched one after the other. The news now comes in from Udaipur, where actress Parvati Vaze got secretly engaged to her boyfriend Ritesh Nath.

The couple has been going out for almost nine years now. In a heart to heat chat with the Bombay Times, Parvati recalled the moment when Ritesh got down on one knee and popped the question. She said that Ritesh and she have this habit of taking off on a short trip every two months. She had planned a trip to Udaipur in the last week of January, but Ritesh kept postponing it citing work and other reasons. She finally got irritated and told him that she didn't want to go anywhere. That's when he said, Let's go'.

The two finally landed in Udaipur on March 4, and the reason he kept postponing the trip became clear to her the next day. She recalls that they were enjoying a stroll in the evening, when he suddenly got down on his knees and proposed. Seems, he was waiting for her ring to be ready and that's why he kept postponing the trip. Adorable isn't it?

The engagement was a surprise to her too. Her mother who is based out of Canada, was in Mumbai for a week and Ritesh and his parents had already planned an engagement brunch with her. It was just Parvati who was totally out of the loop. She said that she too was amazed at the secrecy of it all. He proposed to her on March 5 and then they had an official engagement party on the 16th.

Talking about her wedding plans, Parvati said that they might have a wedding this year only. She said that they have to plan marriage around the time when her mom can take a long leave. They want a destination wedding and also a church ceremony, as Ritesh is part-Punjabi and part-Catholic. She said that she is really excited about planning and shopping for the wedding. Every girl is, Parvati. Here's wishing these two a life time of happiness.
