Rumour mills were recently abuzz with
reports of an alleged fallout between
Shweta Tiwari and husband Abhinav Kohli.
The rumours that were going around for a
long time became strong after Abhinav was
nowhere to be seen at Yeh Rishta Kya
Kehlata Hai actor Shivangi Joshi birthday
party which was held recently.
Following this, Abhinav was the first one to
refute the rumours. Now, Shweta Tiwari in a
statement to AajTak refuted the
rumours calling it "baseless." She said,
"There is no truth to the rumours of trouble
in Abhinav and my paradise. Everything is
fine between us and we are happy
together."
She also added that she hopes the rumours
mills will now shut following her statement.
Abhinav is Shweta's second husband as she
was married to Raja Chaudhary before.
Shweta has a daughter named Palak from
her first marriage and welcomed a son
named Reyansh with Abhinav last year in
the month of November.
The couple got married in July 2013. They
met on the sets of their show Jaane Kya Baat
Huyi in the year 2009. They dated each for
about three years before tying the knot.
Earlier, in 2012 during an interaction with a
leading daily, Abhinav spoke about Shweta
saying, "Many actor-couples have such
misunderstandings. I don't mix my personal
and professional lives, so there are no such
issues. She is a bigger star, there's no doubt
about it. But when it comes to our personal
relationship, we are equals. It doesn't bother
me that she gets more attention
professionally. I am a smaller actor
compared to her and I know I cannot
compete with her professionally."
