I know Manish is a very capable anchor, but at times his jokes are very inappropriate for a family audience. I loved how sober Ravi was while anchoring Rising Star 2. He was actually a lifeline to all of the contestants and the judges because he kept the spirt of the show alive. I too think Salman will win this season of Indian Idol. I actually think Salman and Nitin will both make it to the top three with either Kunal, Soumya, or Nilanjana. I really like Vibhor myself, but wasn't he in the bottom three recently? 😔 In all honesty, all of the contestants this season are so talented that it's difficult choosing favourites.

Are you guys also watching Sa Re Ga Ma Pa? 😳

Thank you for the recommendation, Meenu! I'll have to check this new series out for the lead pair and their chemistry. I love Alia! She's adorable, quirky, and an exceptional actress at such a young age. 👏 I've liked her in all of her movies thus far. 😃

I agree wholeheartedly, Ami. I find the concept, the judges, the anchor, and even the musicians better on Rising Star. Shankar Mahadevan has always been my favourite judge on musical shows in all of these years. Diljit Dosanjh won me over as an incredibly humble and compassionate judge. 👍🏼 I also think Monali has a slight edge over Neha in terms of the accolades both have received upon entering the playback world. 😳

It might just be a fashion statement as you've said, Ami. Do you remember that gold bracelet he wore to the US when he was recording his first single, "Power of Love"? I think Mishal has a fondness for gold accessories that he likes to sport every now and then.

DAZZ, I am not able to watch the entire episode of sa re ga ma pa, only few clips.

Based on the clips so far, it seems that auditions are going on and out of 15, 3 are already selected and in the coming weeks remaining 12 will be selected. It also has totally different concept in terms of judgement. There is panel of judges and then other three main judges.

Earlier it was for kids and now they have increased the age range. Will be interesting to watch.

I know I've seen Debojit Saha, Sumedha Karmahe, Arpita Mukherjee, and Mohammad Irfan on that panel. 😊 Did any of you watch Sa Re Ga Ma Pa challenge 2005 and 2007?

I didn't watch 2005 or 2007 Sa Re. I do remember Sumedha and then there is another girl Vaishali from the judges panel. Ok so now it makes sense. I always wondered how Zee is coming up with almost 10 + judges. Debojit in the above video sings really well.

Agree Hemant and Salman are very talented. I really hope they get good work in industry.

Indian Idol is also rocking this time.

Ami, I was honestly surprised to see so many familiar faces in that expert panel on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. If not playback, at least these ex-contestants are getting some kind of work in the musical realm. I've always felt that contestants on musical shows have it harder than those who struggle without any exposure to the masses. There seems to be a stigma or a taboo associated with musical talent shows in the playback world. 🤔

As for Michael, he truly was one of a kind! 😊 He'll be known as a legend forever.
