The story is really moving at a fast pace as compared to other shows on the TV. Some points to highlight.
1) Aditya was considerate enough to bring back Zoya's purse from the shop. Though from where he got the address is a !mystery.
2) Another misunderstanding by him that Zoya brought the police. He keeps taking things at face value without using his other 5 senses.
3) Hooda senior is is very patient and though there are sparks between his elder son and himself, he still seems to care a little for Aditya.
4) Zoya's father has the account statements of Yash's company. So he must have had an idea of the crises that Yash is in and also about the amount given to him by Pooja. Coz the amount of 5 crore has to reflect in the accounts.
So he may have an idea of a possible extra maritial affair.
5) Arjun makes Aditya aware that his behaviour is not helping and that he is on a destructive path. Aditya finally realises that though he shared everything with Pooja she hasn't told him much and the diary is the key.
* In the flashback did Pooja specifically say that she needed the money for her friend?
If yes, then the awkwardness indicates of a friendship which is slightly more that just a friend or a business partner.
