@anshvi I guess Aditya is reasonable in thinking they had an affair since she also lied about going to chennai if I am not mistaken. They should have chosen something else other than holding of hands to indicate the affair lol.
Agree with you on Zoya, she is living in her fantasy land and is too innocent it seems.

I am hoping that the story is a bit more intricate.
Tuned in just to see Jennifer but ended up liking Harshad as well. His expressions were fabulous in the last scene. Looking forward to see their chemistry. Hope the show is nicely executed nicely even if the plot is simple. π
Heyyy
We meet yet again ππ(Copy pasting from my post)Okay so i really liked the first episode...makers have set the premise and now the story will unfoldWhat i loved the most was the pace of the 1st epi...I thought that makers will take at least a week to show Yash and Pooja's deaths but i was surprised to see that the main event i.e. their deaths happened in the first episode itself. The leads are damn good actors and their chemistry is gonna be really good...Even rest of the cast seems promisingCinematography was nice too and even the song selection 'Abhi na Jao chodhkar' was apt for the overall mood and theme of the episode...nice touchπTHE MYSTERYYes there might be a possibility that makers can show that Yash and Pooja were good friends and didn't have an affair...although chances are slim with that ring and diary etc. but who knows if they were red herrings put by the makers...I guess we will find outThe mystery I am more inclined towards is that their accident was 'PLANNED' and not natural...I think someone deliberately planned to kill Yash and Pooja...Who did it and why i guess will be the mystery that will unravel eventuallyNOW COMING TO THE CHARACTERSYash and Pooja - Similar characters...their nature , their tastes like their fav song everything was similar so it would have been easy for the 2 to get attracted to one anotherZoya and Aditya - are more childlike...Zoya is naive while Aditya a loose cannon...He hates lies and i guess he comes to a conclusion pretty quickly..how when he saw Pooja and Yash holding hands (although if they were holding hands then how did the police pulled their bodies out π i guess this much liberty toh chalti hai for dramatic purposesπ) he immediately came to a conclusion that they probably had an affair (What if they were business partners and held hands coz they were scared who knows π but this possibility never came to his mindπ he directly thought of the worst possible scenarioπ) So, yup he quickly comes to a conclusion and as he himself stated that he hates lies...He understands white and black but not grey ! (Just like most of our TV makers π)Zoya will not easily believe that her husband had an affair...She is naive, she doesn't understand the ways of the world..she is happy in her own little bubble and now when that bubble has burst she will have to be strong and face the real worldAditya and Zoya both share the same pain of losing their spouses, both share the same heartbreak when they saw the two holding hands...and yet they will clash because Aditya will believe that they had an affair while Zoya will believe otherwise...But in this chaos and dystopia they will find each other again and again just like they did yesterday !Their beliefs will make them clash which each other while their pain will in a way unite them.It will be interesting to see how these two souls will find each other, find love again amidst the chaos and dystopia !NOW COMING TO THEIR EQUATION WITH OTHER CHARACTERSYASHYash seems like shares a great rapport with his mom in law and i feel it will remain the same even after everything that has happenedYash shares a cordial relation with his mombut but but Yash doesn't share a good rapport with his dad...This intrigues me...Why is he not on good terms with his father...Aditya said that he hates lies...Has his dad lied about something...I want to know more...Is it something as simple as him wanted to pursue another career and dad wanted him to join business or is it something more complex and serious...My bet is on the latter..something more serious !We know that Aditya has a brother as well...and i want to know what kind of bond Adi shares with his brother...does he have strained relations with him as well just like his dad or he loves his brother...I am sucker for brotherly bonds so i want to know more about them and hope they share great camaraderies π³ZOYAZoya shares a great bond with her sis and momHer dad disapproves of Yash..although they have been married since 5 years yet her dad doesn't approve of their relationHe thinks that Yash is not the right man for his daughter and that is not because of his religionI need to know why he thinks that waySo, overall a pretty solid premiere and i am looking forward to the next episodes...I hope makers will maintain the pace, the storyline will be crisp and gripping without dragging !π
Based on how the story has been revealed so far and how the characters have been introduced its actually too hard to believe that Pooja and Yash actually were having an affair. The makers have presented such layers in the very first episode that its hard to digest that the things that are made so glaringly apparent(ironic given the glare from Aditya) is true.
The female leads1. The docile & willful Zoya. The pottery loving, Yash loving Zoya. The one who lives a peaceful existence in a small town almost like a fairy tale. A perfect life with a perfectly pampering husband who bends to her every wish and understands her every nuance. What more could a girl wish for...but somewhere there is a lack of understanding on Zoya's part...a lack of awareness of what is actually going through her husband's mind. She doesn't see his worried expressions. She brushes off his annoyance at the dirt and asserts her need for intimacy. She doesn't understand what could be more important to her husband on their wedding anniversary but doesn't suspect anything amiss. She is blissfully unaware of anything wrong with her world. But she is a woman of strong instincts...she feels an unease deep down like her perfect world is about to shatter. How can a woman with such instincts be so unaware? But on contrast the minute she comes across an Aditya, the willfullness in her shows its color. She doesn't give in or give up. She runs after what she wants for herself, what she believes to be hers. She would chase him till the end of the earth for what belongs to her. A promising trait for a leading character...one that is sure to set the stage on fire when pitted against the captain.2. The enigmatic Pooja. The woman who indulges her husband's immature ways and forgives him without batting an eye...or is it a strong indifference to his feelings towards her? He doesn't seem callous a husband to warrant such indifference but she doesn't raise a single note of complain when he gets her birthday wrong...a strong contrast to the way Zoya reacts to Yash's leaving on their anniversary. Pooja's need for privacy compared to Zoya's open communication the recent distraction she has noticed in Yash. Pooja's choice to give important to a career (assuming the exhibitions was related to her work) over spending time with her husband.3. The troubled Yash. Even on his anniversary something pulls him away from his loving, dotting wife. What troubled him so, when he seems so indulgent in every other way, one who works hard staying away from the security of home most of the week to make it in this world. What caused him to pull away...it didn't seem as if he was looking for an excuse but he was definitely hiding something from Zoya. Zoya finding the ring did startle him enough to confirm that the ring was not meant for Zoya. But otherwise a calm persona who perfectly pampers the docile side of Zoya and keeps her unaware of the troubles he is facing.4. The spirited Aditya. The guy who is like a gun shot, moving until he hits a target. He is the pole opposite of Pooja's indifference. He is sure about what he is capable of and what his limits are in tolerance. Challenges are a piece of cake for him and liars are his enemies. But can he truly tell when someone lies to him? As much as he hates lies, he doesn't probe into secrets that others want to keep. He doesn't suspect for a second when his wife wants her privacy...he respects her need for space...trusting his childhood sweetheart completely because after all, he knows all there is to know about her. Is it his blind trust or is he shining so brightly in his own eyes that he fails to identify with his wife? A contrast to Yash who easily understood what Zoya was trying to make with the clay when no one else could...but here Aditya cannot tell that he literally has his wife on edge when he threatened to open her diary. A captain who is in absolute command when he has hundreds of lives in his hands but who seems completely out of his wits when he is home with his family. The discord in his family is palpable only as much as the harmony in Zoya's. So its natural that he would draw the most obvious conclusion when faced with the possibility of infidelity while Zoya doesn't want to face the possibility that her faith in her relationship was wrong.Other characters:It is interesting that both fathers are seen as villains in this love story. Adi's father makes a pointed comment regarding his wife leaving separately when both were meant to go to the same destination...leaving Adi to defend their relationship with an angry swipe at his father. He defends by being offensive. On the other hand, Zoya pleads for her father's validation of her choice and leaves dejected when she doesn't receive it. But it is interesting that in both cases, the fathers are voicing an opinion contrary to popular belief. What is it that Zoya's father knew about Yash of what was to happen in a "few days"? Was that a random comment or was there more to it? Why does Adi's father sense a discord between Pooja and Adi when no one else sees anything but a perfect portrait. It is obvious that Adi shares a close bond with his mother-in-law. And the hug shared between Pooja and her mother-in-law was also telling in the closeness between them. But there was a very slight almost negligible hesitation when she hugged Adi. What was that hesitation about? This will be a fun and mystery filled adventure. I can't wait for the rest of it. Finally have a show with so many layered characters. And Harshad and Jenny are amazingly casted. They play their roles to perfection each time. Loving it.
