Thanks for making this post @Amarpali . I too like classics, I watch them when I get a chance. but I am fine with new actors and dramas. Yes. I hate dragging, and bad acting, but there're also good serials coming even these days.

honestly speaking.. i feel
i enjoy watch urdu shows more now than before..
i have watched humsafar which i feel had nothing but a simple old wine in new bottle..

zindagi gulzar hai . not fan of sanam saeed she gives me headache tolarated it coz of fawad khan only..

akhbari ashgari was one of the funniest urdu dramas ever.. love it totally

Actors like fawad Khan, mahira, Sanam saeed, Adnan Siddiqui, Sanam baloch, Saba qamar shaped the Pakistani tv industry at par with the films..I so miss them..

N sadly nowadays there is hardly any remarkable story..they all seem one n the same...

Nowadays I guess khudgarz is doing well...

Plz creatives don't go the Indian way..many Indians like me adore ur serials..

So true, Loved old dramas, to add to your list Dastaan, Dhoop Kinare, Tanahaiyan,Mere humdam Mere Dost, Kankar . I miss watching good content, Yes I loved Udari and a very recent drama Yakeen Ka Safar but other than that there is nothing. If you have not seen already, I highly recommend Yakeen Ka safar. it is one of the best dramas of 2017, Amazing script, story, direction, actors, everything is perfection.

btw current lot, there is a drama called Aangan, very underrated but it is really good, common story but very well made, awesome dialogs, acting and direction..Very light entertainment, but other than that there is nothing remarkable. I fully agree with you. I miss Fawad, Sanam, Mahira, Sanam B and Sanam J onscreen.

Agree. So now if we get 10 good shows in a year it is gr8. It is tough to make good serials when you have a small time to can the epis, that too with actors being busy with different serials in the same time .

I still feel most of old serials were overrated. It is common that ppl love old memories more. and when you have a new experience , watching something different , you become thrilled. then it becomes a habit, so you feel bored..

Udari and Yakeen Ka Safar were good . I liked Choti si zindagi and Aun Zara as well .
