Kaali - Gauri tashan was one thing which strongly got me hooked to Gauri
She became the face of all the women out there who are underestimated just because she is a girl.
She proved that a girl needs no man to protect her neither she is a damsel in distress.
Kaali made a grave mistake of underestimating her. But she proved that chahe kuch bhi hojaye, agar vishwas hai toh baat hai. Though it wasn't an easy path for her, she never gave up her spirit. Like she calls herself, she was a chirayya, that chirayya which cannot be captured or caged for long, for she knew she would eventually fly away.
She is one woman who would take no shit from others. One woman who would be willing to enter her enemies den for the sake of the person she loved, but she was that person who knew that she would eventually fight her way out through her vishwas and wit.
If people still think that her character is regressive, I fail to understand the reason behind their understanding
