The Bharadwaj & Dwivedi families are friends for a long time. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, they had to part but their friendship is intact. Roli had studied in India whereas Sid goes to Ireland for his further studies. Roli & Sid are communicating with each other through postal correspondences & WhatsApp messages. Sid has been carrying Roli's photo wherever he goes. Sis also finds a lot of Indian students studying in Ireland and a lot of Indian lecturers working there. The exams begin. All students enter the examination hall. All the students are writing the paper. Suddenly, and invigilator goes to Sid and asks, "Are you trying to cheat?"

Sid: No Sir.

Invigilator: Then what is this?

He sees Roli's photo and asks, "Whose photo is this?"

One of Sid's friends said, "She is his inspiration which he always carries."

Everyone laugh.

The invigilator said, "Fine, but my eyes are always on all of you."

The examination ends. Everyone leaves. All the students are done with their exams.

Roli is in Madhupur and is working as an accountant in a huge firm. She sees the postman going to Roli's house at the end of her shift. She hurriedly takes the envelope from him.

The postman said: I was delivering this letter to your place but you are in so much hurry. Anything special in this letter.

Roli: It is a very special thing in my life.

She takes the letter and the parcel to the room. Roli plays the tape in her player. She listens to Sid's dialogues.

"Roli, Roli, Roli,"

Roli checks her tape recorder. 

Sid: Nothing is wrong with your tape recorder. I am mad at your name and I like to mention your name again and again because I like your name. I find you everywhere even if I am away from you. Even if I utter your name 1000 times it is not enough as you are a fragrance in my life just as a flower is incomplete without it. But you are so heartless that I had to write the exams on your insistence with the promise that I should clear my exams when I felt like coming to you at Madhupur in your arms. "

Roli imagines herself with Sid. She is blushing and day-dreaming. Janmalal and Meena knock the door. Roli comes to reality and opens the door and goes to the bathroom.

Janmalal sees the tape recorder and plays. 

Meena: Don't you have any shame looking into others personal things?

Janmalal: This is our to-be-son-in-law's voice. This is the new way to love.

Meena: What? 

Janmalal: Close your eyes.

Meena closes her eyes.

Janmalal kisses her.

Meena: Even at this age you are behaving like that.

Janmalal: There are different ways to express your feelings which we need to learn.

Meena: I don't want to learn that.

She leaves.

Janmalal: I will learn and teach as well.

He plays the tape but hears donkey's voice. He puts off the tape.

Meena: I think this is the right time to approach Rajendra and finalize the Roli's marriage with Sid.Janmalal: Yes, you are right.Sid would have finished his final year exams and he will join the family business.

Sid comes home after his exams. Rajendra calls up Janmalal and said, "I am coming to your place with Sid to finalize the marriage of our children."

Janmalal: I was about to call you and talk to you about the relationship of our children.

Rajendra, Sujata, Prem, and Simar pack their bags and leave for Madhupur. Sid stares at Roli's photo. Prem sees that. He said, "Once if Roli enters the house, she will always be in front of your eyes."

Sid blushes. All of them are traveling on the train. They are on the way to Madhupur. Janmalal is searching for his shawl to receive Sid & his family at the railway station. Meena comes & gives him the shawl. Roli sees the train & goes running. 

Sid sees her from the window & jumps from the train. 

Both run towards each other & hug. The train stops at the station. Everyone see Sid carrying Roli in his arms at the fields.

Roli & Sid go to the temple. Roli prays.

Sid: Enough of praying. Let's go home.

Roli: Don't you believe in God?

Sid: I don't believe in God but I definitely believe in Goddess.

Roli: Which Goddess?

Sid: Goddess of love. She is near me.

Roli blushes. The background song is

Janmalal & Meena receive Rajendra & Sudha at the railway station. They see Roli & Sid holding hand-in-hand.

Rajendra: Where were you?

Prem: Sid might have seen Roli from the window & have jumped into the train.

Sid: Prem is right.

All of them reach home.

A man comes to Dwivedi House. He tells to Janmalal, "I have brought your son-in-law to your place."

Meena comes out. She said, "My son-in-law has already come to my house."

The other man who is in the cart comes.

Meena: What made you think that I will give my daughter to this old man. 

She pours the water on their faces and drives them away.

Sid is sleeping in his room. He imagines Roli coming. 

Sid gets up and sees that he is hugging the pillow. Prem & Simar come to his room.

Simar: That day is not very far away. Roli is all yours. Both of you are made for each other.

Sid: Just as you and Prem. Both of you are perfect couples. There is a lot to learn from both of you.

Sid freshens up and goes to the swimming pool. Rajendra, Sujata, Prem, and Simar are at the breakfast table.

Roli serves them breakfast.

Rajendra: Wow, what a yummy food. There won't be any engagement for Roli and Sid. It will be a direct marriage. It is because my son is getting very much restless. 

They call the pundit to fix up the wedding. 

Janmalal: As you say. Earlier the better. How much dowry do you want? I want to make Roli's marriage grand as she is my only daughter. I will give 500 grams of gold & one lakh chain to my SIL. Friendship is separate from the dealings,

Rajendra: I want to make Sid's marriage grand as well. I have spent 12 lakhs on his education. I want Rs 15 lakhs.

Janmalal: Where will I get that much amount?  We are friends.

Rajendra: Friendship & dealings are different. If you are ready, the wedding will take place.

Meena: I join my hands. Please for God's sake don't cancel this relationship.

Janmalal: Let it be. I won't give them the girl

Rajendra: Don't give.

Prem & Sid are shocked. They said, "What are you talking dad?"

Rajendra: Shut up & come with me.

Roli falls to his feet and said, "Please don't break this relationship. I will kill myself if this marriage does not take place."

Rajendra makes her get up. He said, "I was just kidding. I had considered you as our DIL when you and Sid were little children. Your dad had insulted my friendship. That is why I gave him a mild jolt." He then tells Janmalal, "What questions are you asking. You know very well that I'm an anti-dowry person. I have not taken even a pie from Simar and her parents. Come on, we have been friends for years. Do you think I am going to take anything from you? I don't want anything from you except your daughter."

The Rosid wedding gets finalized. Both families conduct mehendi and haldi ki rasam. Roli dresses up as a bride. Sid is seen sitting on the horse.

Suddenly there is a thunder. The trees start shaking. The hole appears on the way. The horses get startled. Sid falls from the horse on the way.

One of Rajendra's servants said, "A groom falling like that is a bad omen."

Rajendra: That is all bullshit. The marriage will happen at any cost.

Sid and Roli sit at the mandap. At the time of 7 rounds, the gathbandan burns in the fire. Both the families panic. Roli also panics.

Sid: Don't get afraid. Let us continue. 

The marriage completes. 

The pundit said, "From now on both of you are husband & wife. Fill the bride's partition with a vermilion & put the mangalsutra on her neck. 

Sid is about to do that. Suddenly the flame gets his. The Vermillion falls.

Meena panics. She tells Janmalal, "I don't understand anything that is happening."

The pundit said, "Nothing to worry. Everything will be fine by God's grace."

Roli & Sid complete the marriage rituals. All are happy.

Suddenly Roli disappears.

Sid: I know where Roli is.

He finds her in the puja room & overhears Roli saying, "If I have done anything wrong, please punish me but spare Siddhanth. Please protect him."

Sid: Roli.

She comes out both hug. 

Roli cries.

Sid: Why are you crying? Nothing will happen to be. All this good omen bad omen is just a mindset. It is the old thoughts of old people. The times have changed.

Roli: Yes, I agree but hunger, thirst, life & death are constant.

Sid: Hunger & thirst is a part of human being. What has the stone got to do with that?  Everyone is responsible for their actions.

Roli: Do you mean to say there are no positive & negative forces? You mean God won't do anything?  Don't insult God by calling him a stone. You are talking like an atheist.

Sid: I am an atheist. All these God, Goddesses crap is only an imagination. I only believe in what I see. For eg We are here, that is true. This temple is the truth.

Roli: When you can believe that temple is true why can't you believe that God exists?

Sid: You can't change my viewpoint but it does not mean that I will come in your way. I won't ask you to change your faith. You can pray to Shivling 1000 times a day I have no problem. Come now. Everyone is waiting.

Both of them leave.

The Bharadwaj family does Roli's grahapravesh. 

Prem & Simar congratulate Roli & Sidhant. Simar said, "You take your husband's name. Only then you can enter.

Roli is shy.

Simar: You take his name so many times in a day. Why not now? 

Prem: And what happened to you, Sid? You take Roli's name day & night. What happened now?

Sid: I take her name 1000 times. Roli Roli Roli.

Simar: Enough. It is Roli's turn.

Roli shyly said: Sidhant.

Simar: Say loudly.

Sujata said, "Stop teasing my younger DIL."

Roli is sitting on the cot. She is shy. Sid comes in.

The Dwivedis shift to Delhi where Rajendra and his family are staying.

Roli & Sid are about to consummate. Suddenly they see the drawer opening. Sid finds the ring in his drawer. He feels giddy & faints seeing the ring shaking on its own.

Roli: What happened Sid? 

Everyone enters the room.

Rajendra puts Sid's head on his lap & said, "Call the doctor."

Sid is admitted to the hospital for the checkup.

The doctor examines everything & said, "Nothing to worry. He is perfectly alright."

He then asks Sid, "Do you remember what sound you heard the last?"

Sid: I remember that tic tic sound. I felt that someone is hitting my head.

The doctor asks Roli, "Did you hear any such sound?"

Roli: No.

The doctor said, "Well, in that case, he has to be here for 4 days for observation."

Roli decides to be with Sid in the hospital.
