Abhishek Bachchan to star in a comedy film by Priyadarshan.

Priyadarshan is one of the most talented
filmmakers we have in the country. He has
made his mark in the Malayalam, Tamil and
Hindi movie industry and has worked with
leading superstars of the country namely
Mohanlal, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar to
name a few.
Now, he is all set to don the director's hat
for a Bollywood movie after four years. Yes,
Priyadarshan will be helming a movie which
stars Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. The
film is set to be a comedy flick which is the
director's forte.
Talking about it, Priyan stated to a leading
tabloid, "Yes, Abhishek is on board. We have
been working on the script and will give
him a reading this week and will go ahead
once he approves of the final script. I'm
hoping to start by January."
He further said, "I'm hoping to come back
with another film which is at par with Hera
Pheri. I want to play my second innings in
Bollywood carefully."
When asked about his leading man, the
filmmaker said, "I was looking for someone
who is as good as Akshay Kumar when it
comes to humour. Abhishek is a brilliant
actor. He has got his sense of humour from
his father (Amitabh Bachchan). I believe he
will do total justice to my film. He was always
my first choice."
This is Priyadarshan's comeback to
Bollywood after four years. Talking about it,
he added, "I did not do anything for three
years. There was one film I made with
Mohanlal, Oppam, last year that went on to
become a superhit but other than that, I
was off cinema due to personal reasons. But
now I'm hoping this comeback is the best
one yet. I know people are expecting
another Hera Pheri and Hulchul from me.

Wow .. in spite of pathetic records of delivering sooo many flops in a career spanning almost two decades, AB Jr. still gets to work with someone like Priyadarshan. Nepotism indeed rocks.
