Laxmi bai always wore sarees n not anarkali with leggings.. The other day a magazine ridiculed sarees n there were a lot of illustrations of laxmibai in saree in d battle field captioned saree swag on twitter. Costume designer has probably forgotten aabout the character being laxmi bai and not kangana bai😔

Wow her dress tops are so simple and earthy, loving it. Nice change from other period pieces' OTT and heavy costumes.
