Jaren, we NEED a part 4 ASAP. I can't sleep unless you post it. It's Zubiya who was shot, right?

Part 5
She slowly fluttered her eyes open. With a little effort she slowly sat up with the support of the pillow behind her. As her vision adjusted to the dimly lit room she saw him sitting by her bed-side. When he saw her looking at him he smiled at her kept looking at her intently.
She got flustered under his gaze, turned her face away from him and said.
"Ap ye mat sochiye ga ke maine jo kia vo...vo agar koi aur bhi hota to mai yahi krti."
Asfand sat up straighter and, with a mischievous look on his face, replied.
"Acha? Lekin mujhe to laga ye khaas karam kiya e tumne mujh pe."
Z: "Agar apko kuch ho jata to... is hospital ko yahan ke logon ko apki zarurat hai."
A: "Really?"
Z: "Aap kiun meri baat nai samjh rahay."
A: "Kya nahi samajh raha main?"
The smirk on his face clearly indicated that he was not taking her seriously at all.
Z: "Please mje tang nai karen."
Right then Lubna entered the room followed by Gaiti.
"Kiun tang kar rahay ho meri beti ko Asfi?"
Gaiti placed a bowl on the side table and said.
"Ye jaldi se finish kro."
This was the first time she looked around the room after waking up. Lots of flowers and cards were placed on a table in one corner of the room. How she wished she could wipe away the part of her life before coming here so that this dream of a life wouldn't end.
A nurse knocked on the door and informed Asfand that Dr. Sharoze was calling him. Gaiti also left after him citing some work.
Lubna sat down on the chair Asfandyar had gotten up from. She placed her hand on Zubia's and said.
"Zubia beta, tumhara ye ehsan mai..."
Z: "Aunty please is baray main baat nai karen."
L: "Acha theek hai. Nahi karti lekin ek baat to mujhe tumse krni hai. Esi bhi kya narazgi ho gayi keh tum hamaray ghar nahi ati."
Z: "Aisi to koi baat nai e Aunty aur mai kesay naraz ho sakti un."
L: "Mere bulaane pr bhi tum us din ke baad nahi ayi. Tum Asfi se shadi nahi karna chahti, to iska matlab hai ab hmse milo gi bhi nahi? Koi tmhare sath zabardasti to nahi kar raha na. Bahu na sahi beti ban ke to mil sakti ho na. Tumharay anay se itni saari khushian agyi hain hamari zindagion main. Aray... ro kiun rahi ho? Idhar ao."
She stood up and moved forward to envelop her in a hug.
L: "In kuch maheeno mai tum itni pyari ho gayi ho mujhe. Kitni khush kismet maan thi vo jiski tum aulad ho. Tumhe dekh ke he andaaza hota hai keh kitni achi parwarish ki hai tmharay maan baap ne tumhari."
Zubia couldn't take it any longer. If only this woman, who was claiming to love her like a mother, knew her reality; she would never even let her set foot in her house again, let alone get her son married to her.
While walking through the corridor Asfandyar thought about his phone call to her Khalla's house. A woman had answered the phone.
A: "Assalamualaikum. Main Dr. Asfandyar baat kr raha hoon. Dr. Zubia ki khalla se baat krwa den please."
"Wo to nahi hain. Apko agar koi message dena ho to bata dain." The woman replied.
A: "Actually Dr. Zubia ke sath ek hadsa ho gya hai pr zyada pareshani ki baat nahi hai."
W: "Ab kesi hai wo."
A: "Ab behtar hain. ICU mai hain. Apko inform krne k liye phone kiya tha. Hopefully kuch der mai hosh ajaye ga."
W: "Acha theek hai. Boht shukria."
Strangely neither the woman had asked anything further, nor had anyone come from her relatives. They really did not care about her at all. No wonder she always remained on guard. As a lone woman in a society like this, she really had strived really hard to reach where she was. His respect for her had increased manifold. This made her realize that he didn't really know much about her. Talking to her right now would be futile. May be he just needed to give her time to open up.
Dr. Sharoze was already in the office when he reached there. When he saw him entering he spoke.
"I just received a call from a contractor who has agreed to our quotes. He has also assured provision of all the supplies within three months. He is coming to Islamabad from Karachi after three days."
A: "Okay then I'll go there and meet him. Let's see how it works out. If possible I'll call him here to have a look at the hospital too."
Zubia had been discharged from the hospital and Lubna had forcefully brought her home. She had told her.
"Jab tak tum puri tarha theek nahi ho jati, you're not going anywhere."
None of them had listened to any of her protests so she had ended up at their place. She had never been pampered ever in her life. These people were treating her like she was someone really special. Every passing moment at this place was making her feel guiltier. She felt as if she was deceiving these wonderful people. And then there was Asfi. It was becoming harder for her to keep herself enclosed in the shell she had built around herself.
