Hello again to all the supportive and very patience reader over here, especially with me here is the chapter 14 and so sorry again 4 making you all wait.

Please read it and let me know your valuable opinion and this chapter is res for each and everyone of you :)

Chapter 14

Khushi: so how are you feeling?

Asad: trapped inside this room and has a jailor named ASR

Khushi just laughed at it

Asad(smiling): So what you wanted to talk to me about?

Khushi: well yeah it was about Zoya

Asad become little serious hearing that

Asad: What about Zoya? What happened?

Khushi: I just want to know how did she lose her eyesight she is definitely not born like that so what happened?

Asad: I have no idea, I just know she lost her eyesight at the age of 8 in a car accident. But again what happened? Is she fine?

Asad asked the last sentence little worried

Khushi was still in deep thoughts

Khushi: look Asad without doing her proper examination I can't claim anything but still there is something which is not making sense to me from the ophthalmologist's point of view

Asad: what does that mean?

Khushi: when I saw her for the first time, I didn't think she was blind until her stick came into the picture.

"Me neither!!! No one can make out seeing her happy go lucky attitude" Asad said mesmerised again picturing their first encounter

Khushi's voice again brought him to Present

Khushi: hey Devi Maiya! You're not understanding Asad! I'm saying I don't think her blindness is something which cannot be treated

Asad looked at her with a little shock evident on his face

Asad: Wha...What! are you sure?

Khushi: no, I can't give any assurance without doing her full eye examination.

Asad: so what are you waiting for ? do it! We will call her now!

Khushi: calm down Asad, it's not that simple

Asad: now what's the complication in that? her happiness will be boundless after knowing this

Khushi: what if I'm wrong?

That's when things struck in Asad's mind

Khushi: she has made a peace with the darkness long back, giving her the hope and snatching it away will be too brutal for her to handle

Asad: her blindness never came in the way of my love to her it doesn't matter to me, for me she is flawless but if there is even a little chance for her to get rid of that blindness, she deserves it and I want to take that chance for her

Khushi: really Asad, you both are lucky to have each other and you are right even if there is a small possibility we cannot let that go! But how?

That's when something came in Asad's mind and smiled a little turning to Khushi

Asad: listen...

With that, he said something to Khushi

Khushi (hi-fiving Asad): that's a mind-blowing plan!

Khushi: I will go and let that Laad Governor know this plan or else he will mess it up (she further added) for now you take rest

Asad just nodded in yes and Khushi went out, Asad closed his eyes and soon sleep took over him due to medication and sedatives

Around 9 in the evening:

Asad was wide awake and was totally pissed as he was not used to lying for so long, Ayaan also sighed helplessly seeing him so annoyed when the nurse came in

Nurse: it's time to dress up the patient's wounds

Asad: Asad Ahmed Khan! That's my name, not patient

Asad said irritated

Nurse: Apologies! (Turning to Ayaan) you have to bring this ointment from the hospital chemist

Ayaan just nodded and left from there.

The nurse kept the tray in the side table and was arranging the bandages for dressing his wound.

Here Zoya just arrived at the corridor with Humeira when Ayaan saw them and went towards them

Ayaan: Good that you guys finally came, Bhai was asking about your whereabouts in every five minutes

Zoya(smiled a little hearing that): how is he now?

Ayaan: he is recovering super fast after all no one can separate him from Dilshad Constructions for long

They had a small laugh at that

Zoya: I will go and meet him

Ayaan: yeah sure! But they will start with his wound dressing soon and only one person can be with him inside

Zoya: Oh...(Zoya hesitated a little but Ayaan made things easy for her)

Ayaan: so you should be inside with him, I will send the medicines

Humeira: I will take you till his ward

Zoya just gave him a grateful smile and moved towards Asad's ward with Humeira

Here nurse was time to time ogling at Asad and his biceps.

Humeira left Zoya till the door and went from there, she opened the door that's when she heard the nurse talking

Nurse: I'm again very much sorry to call you patient before and pissing you off

Asad: that's fine, even I overreacted

Nurse(with the husky voice): maybe I could make up for that!

Asad: excuse me?

Nurse: I mean by dressing your wounds

Asad: oh

Asad thinking, "she is so weird can't she do her work and leave instead of irritating me "

Our smart businessman actually don't know a thing about women so he didn't understand that she is trying to flirt with him

One person was fuming there listening to it, though she cannot see but can make out the difference between normal and flirty voice.

Zoya was above to say something but stopped hearing her continuing with her flirting

Nurse (looking at his file): Asad Ahmed Khan! Asad huh-uh that means lion! No wonder! you're meant for this name

Asad thinking, "what is she? Google translator! where the hell are you Ayaan "

Before she could say anything further there was THUD voice, both of them looked towards the source of the voice and found Zoya standing there almost ready to kill someone, she banged the door shut to stop her flirting with her man, Asad was relieved seeing her, but since the nurse was on her night shift she was only aware of Ayaan as he was the only person present when her shift started

Nurse(little annoyed): who are you?

Before Asad could reply Zoya's interrupted

Zoya: Lioness!

Nurse looked at her confused even Asad didn't understood what's going on

Zoya(forcing a smile): Asad means Lion and I'm his lioness

She said nearing them

Zoya: you seem pretty infatuated about Lions?

Now the nurse was embarrassed as she understood what is Zoya implying but I'm talking about the nurse our Jahapana is still clueless

Nurse: maam...

Zoya: let me tell you a fun fact, before exploring a lion you should research on their lioness they are much more dangerous than the lion itself.

Asad: here people can do wildlife research and I'm not allowed to even check my emails?

Zoya(sternly): No! You're not and you better deal with that Mr.Khan!

Before the conversation could go further Ayaan just entered

Ayaan: Hello people! Here is the ointment

He said giving it to the nurse and further added, "I will wait outside"

With that he moved out, the nurse immediately dressed his forehead wound and left from there within half an hour, As soon as she left and Zoya heard the door banged, she turned to Asad

Zoya: Allah Miya! What's wrong with you Asad!

Asad: what happened? What's wrong with you! why are you behaving so strange?

Zoya: I have to behave strangely when my boyfriend is dumb!

Asad: EXCUSE ME!

Zoya: that's all you know to say? can't you make out that that stupid lady was flirting with you

Asad: what! You're crazy, she was just doing her work

Zoya: she would have done a lot more if I wasn't here on time and I can't believe you're advocating her

Asad: when did I...? Okay, leave it the bottom line is Zoya Farooqui was jealous hence proved yet again!

Zoya: yes I was! Happy? Now stop proving it every time

Asad held her hand and pulled her closer

Asad: I know how much you love me, I wasn't proving anything, I really didn't know she was flirting

Zoya: because you don't know a thing about women but then it's okay, I'm not angry at you, it's just that at times like this my blindness bothers me

Asad: it should not because you were damm scary! she wouldn't dare to lay an eye on me again not even in dreams

Zoya: Asad!!! (saying so she hit lightly on his chest)

Asad: that hurts

Zoya: good for you

With that, she hugged him again feeling his heartbeat. After sometime Zoya came out of the hug

Zoya: how are you feeling Asad?

Asad: I'm good to go, please take me from here

Zoya just laughed at his annoyance when Arnav entered the room

Arnav: hey guys! hope I'm not disturbing you just a normal check up

Asad: please dude! this is not the time to take revenge for the old days! please let me go.

Arnav: well I can't decide that it is your report which makes the call.

Asa(rolling his eyes): and according to my report I have to be here?

Zoya was worried hearing that

Zoya: really Arnav! What's wrong in his reports?

Arnav: chill Zoya! he is totally fine. It's just that his forehead wound is little deep which need to be healed and which is happening so there is nothing to be really worried about

Zoya sighed in relief

Arnav(further added): by the way Asad told me everything, like how this accident took place. Are you ok? I mean it was indeed too much to handle.

Zoya: I am totally fine! actually, I wouldn't have been if not for Asad. He pushed me to the other side, endangered his life to save mine

Arnav: Thank god everything is fine now but I think you should go for a medical examination to see if there are any injuries.

Zoya: medical examination? (chuckling) that's so thoughtful of you! but Arnav that is not required

Asad: Zoya I think Arnav is right. I really pushed you hard

Zoya: to save my life!

Asad: that's not the point! I just want to know if you are fine

Zoya: I'm telling you, see I'm perfectly fine

Asad: Yeah but what's the harm in small medical examination

Zoya: it's unnecessary

Asad: I will be at peace knowing that there is nothing to be worried about. In all my tension you are not taking your fall seriously

Asad took her hand and showing her bruises in her elbow to Arnav

Asad sarcastically: it's nothing right?

Zoya: it is nothing! just a small bruises

Asad: Zoya please! for me?

Zoya thinking for a while answered, "okay"

Arnav: Great! let's start with your eyes then

Asad glared at Arnav and covered up saying, "what he meant was all the medical checkup starts with eyes...mo...mostly"

Arnav: yeah right!

Zoya(turning to Asad): how do you know that?

Asad (nervously) that's general knowledge!

Zoya(confused): I never had such knowledge

Arnav (muttering under his breath): neither did I

Zoya: you said something Arnav?

Arnav: yes there are certain protocols...it's strange! I agree, but we have to follow

Zoya: what wrong could happen to my eyes? the opacity of the darkness will increase?

Asad: Zoya...

Arnav: it's not just about eyes there are many nervous systems in our body which are attached to each other so you know every part, every cell whether working or not as long as you are breathing and it's a part of your body it is important.

Zoya: okay no problem

Arnav: tomorrow morning is it fine?

Zoya: yeah sure

Arnav: okay! Khushi and I will see you tomorrow and please bring your old medical records.

Zoya: old medical records (thinking for a while) that are with Ammi. It's okay, I'll ask her

Asad: I don't think we will require that

Arnav understood that if Asad is saying this, there will be some reason behind that so he immediately covered up

Arnav: well I always tell this to my patients but I don't know if Khushi follows the same procedure anyways I'll ask her if required I will ping you till then don't bother anyone

Zoya(with a smile): as you say Doc!

Arnav: by the way, there is good news for both of you Asad's report is pretty good I don't think we should keep him here anymore so we can discharge him by tomorrow

Zoya's smile widened hearing that she just jumped up in enjoy

Zoya: Allah Miya! thank you so much, I am so happy I'll inform everyone with that she marched out of the room

Asad: Be careful

Zoya(on her way shouted back): okay!

Arnav: she is pretty good at grasping the surrounding just in two days

Asad: yes she is, but you have no future in acting you almost ruined everything

Arnav: lying makes me nervous especially about the medical terms

Asad: thanks for helping out dude and sorry you have to fake it

Arnav: if what Khushi is saying is true then all this is totally worth it

Asad: I'm just hoping for the best

Arnav: Her old medical history would have been very useful

Asad: I know but it is with her so-called mother and she hates her to the extent

Asad (further added gritting his teeth): that she wanted her dead

Arnav(shocked): what the!

Asad: I will fill you in with the details later but the thing is if she has Zoya's old medical records then there is something fishy about it and I don't want to alert her about anything

Arnav: That makes sense, anyways you take rest tomorrow is gonna be a long day

After sometime Zoya along with everyone entered the ward where Asad was kept

Dilshad: I am so happy you are getting discharged tomorrow

Ayaan(with a smile): finally I am very happy about it too, I guess you all should leave anyways visiting hours are about to get over

Zoya: I and Ayaan will stay with Asad

Asad: nobody has to stay, I am fine! you all can have proper rest and come back tomorrow

Ayaan(laughing): that's not happening! I am not leaving this place without you

Dilshad: yes you can't be left alone

Najma: tomorrow morning when we will arrive you will be welcoming us in place of the receptionist so that you can check emails in their desktop

Zoya: you are right najma, you can't be trusted there

Asad (sarcastically): wow, I cannot be more overwhelmed

Asad: Zoya understand you need to rest especially for tomorrow

Razia(with a sugar-coated voice): yeah about tomorrow... what's the need for all the test? I mean she's all fine

Asad trying not to be rude which it's quite difficult for him but he as to for Zoya's sake

Asad: just for Assurance there is no harm in double check right Mr. Siddiqui?

Gafoor: since it's about Zoya's health I am ok with it

Razia just gulped nervously hearing that her forehead started sweating a little though she was in a full air conditioning room

Asad noticed it but didn't make it obvious

Asad: it's not something serious just a normal one like the yearly checkup don't worry Mr Siddiqui

That explanation from Asad was more for Razia so that she doesn't use her evil brain much

Gafoor just nodded with a smile but that it didn't relax Razia she was too worried for tomorrow.

That's it how was it good, bad, too bad, flying shoes let me know :D

Gaffur is a loving father without a doubt but RAZIA! Damn she riles me up so bad!
