I don't get it. It's the advantage or disadvantage of social media. People come almost naked and expect nobody to say anything. If people in abroad do not care to see a women without bra. Why do people expect same reaction here? Or else why don't u live in abroad!

You don't have to show your breasts to create awareness around you. People into the market are buying products and will remain doing that even after seeing such pics. not everyone is open minded out there.. everyone knows how babies are fed but that doesn't mean one should start showing her boobs to the world..

The minute you stop seeing the breasts as sexual they will stop being offensive. As RTH has so eloquently put in her post, people are not offended if people are eating in public places and this the same thing. If a baby was having milk in a bottle would people even notice. No they would not. This is the same thing. While formula is not toxic, breast milk is definitely better. It passes antibodies from the mom to baby and in many cases has been known to increase immunity from diseases. Yes pumping is an option but it is much better for the milk production is a baby latches directly to the breast. Now why would any mother not want to give their children the benefits that come with breast milk only because some people take offense

Comments are bad. These people just dont know how to put their point politely in right manner.
Breast feeding is normal everywhere it doesnt matter india and america. people just look at you thats all no one would dare to utter a word against it because they knows if they did or shown their bad mentality by any chance they know there are people out there to shut their mouth. right?

But if you are a actresss followed anonymously and click the picture of it breast feeding , post it on your social media account and indirectly ask 'aa bail mujhe maar' toh idhar akela bail nhi bail ka jhund marega sidha.

Lisa might have had good intentions behind the picture but one has to understand that when its on internet its open to interpretations and all kinds of mindset. Yes there are deplorable comments but they are exposing the psyche of the person writing it. This all the more requires to be conscious and prepared when one posts things on social media.
Would like to add here taking in mind the message is meant to promote something good then the message should be crafted in a way that it delivers what its supposed to and not get lost in wrong translation. Lisa could have worked on this.

Don't think women see breast as sexual. It's just not the way to conduct in public. That's it. The culture is different from abroad. People shouldn't expect same reactions.

It is very difficult to go out with a baby.. Especially those under six months.. They can't be even fed solids.. Preparing formula required utmost hygiene and it is difficult to achieve that when one is traveling.. Difficult(not impossible).. So breastfeeding them is a natural choice..
Not every establishment has a feeding room.. So what should the mother do? Young infants need to be fed every two hours.. Sick babies are sometimes even more demanding and suckle just for comfort..

Breastfeeding in public is perfectly fine.. Can't deny a baby it's nourishment just because a few grown-ups feel offended by something that has totally nothing to do with them.

The comments don't surprise me.. Going by the ever increasing incidences of violence against women all over the world, it is a tall order to expect people not to sexualise something that is pure and natural.

Breastfeeding in public is common in India too but people do cover themselves in public. That's the only difference.

Excuse me! When did I say it's OK? Are u hallucinating? All I said is reactions will be different in India and abroad. People can't expect the same.
