My favourite characters of the show are the two leads of course , besides them I like Shahmeer's mother .
She comes across as a very graceful and an understanding woman who has suffered because of Amma Ji and her selfish principles .
Yes, Shamir's mom is amazing and so wise. I also like his bhabhi. She is so much more fun-loving, liberated person and is also so aware of her ill fortune at having been married off to a self-righteous asshole like Qaiser. I like how she tries to find something to be happy about in spite of the husband and grandmother-in-law she has to put up with.
While I really like the actress playing the bhabhi character as well as the character itself, I cannot help but notice how urban she appears, even in rural-esque clothing. But then, the lady playing ammaji seemed so urban in her mannerisms in Shukk and Shanakht that I could never imagine her as the rustic grandmother but in this show, I do buy her as the rustic, unyielding matriarch. Great job and good direction.
