I love Pritam too, but Anu Malik produced some mindblowing evergreen albums where do I even begin ❤️ He's one of my most favorite music composers.he doesn't receive as much appreciation as he deserves.😔
pritam is a good copier mean composer too 😉 but his choice of singers are sometime pathetic... he give songs according to the present popularity of singer and not genuine deserving artist who can do justice to the composition ...making a song instant hit or youtube views is his focus...in music what matter is the life of songs ...anu malik songs are evergreen because he picked correct singers for the songs...many of pritam songs if have been done with likes of udit narayan or sonu could have been a classic ...i feel baa khuda tum hi ho from kismat connection shaan could have rendered it better than atif aslam ,, same with gerua i guess

First of all, Anu Malik is the bigger "copier" - he is WELL KNOWN for "borrowing" tunes over and over and over again.Secondly, BLAME THE PRODUCERS for the choice of singers, they not only have the final say, but often change the composer's choice in favour of a more popular vocalist. Also in Anu's era things were MUCH DIFFERENT in terms of music. Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam sang about 80% of ALL male parts. These days there are many many more singers out there, hence more to choose from.Lastly, I voted for Pritam, becase ADHM. That album is everything. The melodies, the diversity, the intricacies, the epic title track, the gut-wrenching Channa Mereya, the soaring Bulleya. Anu has also produced BRILLIANT soundtracks: Fiza, Refugee, Virasat, Asoka. I even LOVE his Poppy stuff like Judwaa, Ishq, Lajja. He was versatile and a genius too. But I voted for Pritam.
