Choreographer Bosco Martis, who will be
making his directorial debut with the
musical film Circus, has finally found his
heroine. Sonakshi Sinha has been roped in
to play a trapeze artist in the film, reports
Mumbai Mirror.
When Bosco announced the film a year-
and-a-half ago, Kangana Rananut was cast
opposite Sooraj Pancholi. However, she
opted out and Parineeti Chopra stepped
in. But even she opted out and there were
reports of the film being shelved. In the
meantime, Bosco had narrated the film to
Sonakshi last December and she recently
gave her nod for the film, which has Suniel
Shetty playing her father.
A source is quoted saying, "While the
supporting cast will consist of trained
performers, the leads will train with
gymnast and acrobats to work on their
stance and balance. There will be
extensive action and dance sequences
with fire and water acts."
