For all those of you who wanted to see Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan together at the IIFA Awards 2017, we have a dampener. The two superstars will not share the stage and the reason is SRK's son Aryan Khan. A source revealed that SRK will be amidst the promotions of his next film with Anushka Sharma. The awards would turn out to be hectic because of not just professional, but personal reasons too. His elder son Aryan suffered an injury, and he needs medical care. Our source said, "Shah Rukh's son Aryan broke his nose while playing football at school. Aryan is already on medication, but the doctors have advised him to undergo surgery. SRK will be travelling abroad for that. It has been scheduled around the same time as the award function, and his priorities are very clear. The concerned father will obviously prefer being by his son's side. Well, we couldn't have expected anything different from this doting daddy.
Even last year, Shah Rukh was missing at the IIFA Awards and seems like we will have to do one more year without King Khan. The actor will also be neck deep into the promotions of his upcoming film with Imtiaz Ali, Jab Harry Met Sejal, which is set to release in August. However, IIFA will be special for other reasons. We will see Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan reunite. The Tiger Zinda Hai actors will take centre stage at the event this year. We bet Ali Abbas Zafar will be a happy man, considering that TZH promotions will kickstart much in advance.
