Wow, TFS! Acually Sonu is right, Aap is used when you want to show respect to a person. Tum is used in close friends, colleagues, people of same level or people younger in age or profession. Maybe we don't know whole background story, both tweets may or may not be cryptic. Its like Mika deliberately poked Sonu & Shaan and got a befitting reply from Sonu. Both tweets seem simple on the face though.
