Night falls upon the city of Bangalore.

Tucked into a quiet corner away from prying eyes, a shabby, single-storeyed building stirs with a lot of hushed up activity. Several bikes are parked in and around the area.

At first sight, it's hard to spot the thing. The little block is shrouded with the shadows of the trees and the pitch darkness of the night.

On entry, we get what goes on in there.

Gambling. A lot of it.

Furious betting on which of the two contenders will win the Mixed Martial Arts match that night.

For unsuspecting passers-by, this place doesn't come across as an illegal MMA fight club. Because it isn't meant to be.

The club functions as a crude gym by day with a set of cheap, antique equipment. It's sort of the same at night. But this is done only to cover up the gambling that goes on in there. So the question of people raising doubts and alerting the police was next to impossible.

The terms of gambling weren't something to be sneezed at either. Almost every night, a huge amount of money is put at stake by the betters. Even more so this night. Because tonight, the match was between two undefeated champions. Bharath Bheema' Reddy and Manik the Savage' Malhotra.
