I actually saw Ek Thi Misaal's first few episodes. I got bored of the storyline, but there's one thing you can always give Emmad credit for whether it's Ek Thi Misaal or Ranjish Hi Sahi, Sanam or Aasmano pe Likha--He acts well, which is why I'm 100% sure he got KnK and SEDBN. It was just a matter of him getting a cast that clicked with him and writers that utilized his talents.

It justtt so happens he not only got two super hit shows, he got a hit pairing, too. That should take him far, provided EmNa get a show worthy of their skills.

I felt a bit differently about his previous roles. I saw him in Aasmanon Pe Likha, and thought he was pretty callow. His voice modulation, dialogue delivery barely passed muster but you could make out that he was earnest in his effort. But now, after all that practice, he clearly has found his groove. Naveen on the other hand, seems to have given a stellar performance right from her first role (Humsafar). Anyhow, both are capable and hard working performers. I don't think they'll take their success for granted.

In may have been biased because I hate Shehryaar Munawar and so I like anybody better than him...haha. Emmad has come a longgg way, but even back when I didn't know him as anything other than "Maya's love interest from ranjish hi sahi" I thought he was talented. But yes, much improved now.

I truly don't know. I don't comment on him a lot because I don't know what it is about him I don't like. He's a fine actor, maybe it's the roles he chooses? Like every time I find out he's in a project I'm like NOPE. And also it doesn't matter if he's paired with Sajjal aly, Ayeza, Mahira or Syra...I never find any of his pairings attractive. He's an anomaly to me.


As for your question about my writing, I haven't started it yet but I have all the details planned out in my mind. I have some personal things coming up in my life over the next week so I'm not sure how often I'll be around, if at all, starting from next Monday. For all I know I could be on this site all day errday, but that seems unlikely.
