one of the most adorable characters who's loved by us throughout the year. She always stays by Rishi's side and continuously offers him with encouragement and support. Not only with Rishi, but also with both Tanu and Tanuja, she has had a very special cordiality.

The most endearing Papaji (to Bedi sons)of the Indian television ever! Above all it feels heavenly to watch his bonding with Tanu/ja over times.. Even he has become a true cupid to our TanShi post leap, uniting them in marriage!

One of the characters whom we hate to its maximum.😡😆 Even though being the mother to Rishi, she often tries to harm his bond with Tanuja to meet her own ends! (The least said the better)

An adopted brother of Rishi and Manpreet who's always sensible and assist Rishi to overcome each and every trouble in his life.

A quite a fun loving flirt type little brother of Rishi Singh Bedi is loved by us throughout! All the time, he had been such a pillar of strength to his Rishi Bhai in every ups and downs in life, turning a helping hand to win over both Tanu and Tanuja's love.

He'd been father to both Tanu and Ahana prior to the leap! With a little span of time, his character conveyed us a lot though he died during a terrorist attack along with his wife in initial episodes. Every time, he encouraged and uplifted spirits of our adorable Tanu when she waited for her Rishi to come over 17 years.

The most charming mother of Tanu and Ahana who died during first few episodes of the story. Especially she was the first one to give Tanu and all of us such a heart touching wonderful definition of love.

She's the most protective lovely sister of Tanu who's now married to Manpreet! She's been such a backbone to both Tanu and Tanuja in their lives throughout.

she is not born in khuranas family but indirectly she is member of khurana family😉 ( the reborn Tanu) ,A simple yet chirpy fun loving 20 year old girl (resembling Tanu in her mannerisms and all) came back to Rishi's life in order to fulfill her "Pyaar ki Kasam (vows of love), taking rebirth only for him. Though her character is little bit different, Tanu's soul reflects in her every time, making Rishi feel Tanu in her.

Even if her attraction and soul connection with Rishi remained constant, a lot of problems surfaced in their relationship owing to manifold outside forces. At one time, our hearts melted seeing her own heartache, suffering and helplessness. But, later to our hearts to content, her unconditional wholehearted love for Rishi conquer over all ordeals, making them more closely attached!

The mostly adored Punjabi munda of the show. We literally fell for our "Tanu Ki Lafendar Rishi'', who had fallen head over heels in love with in the blink of an eye. His ever funniest mischievous antics to woo Tanu made us endear him to no end.😃⭐️

When death took its toll on his soul mate- lady love Tanushree, he plunged into depression and hardened in face of loss and separation over time. It had been excruciatingly painful for us to see him, being a living corpse, who'd been pining in the memory of Tanu.💔😭 Yet, in the wake of the reborn Tanu namely Tanuja's entry in his life, the colour of love's been eventually showering over him.

Amidst all hurdles, we could still smile cheek to cheek in front of their gradually-strengthening bond as a husband and wife. (like we're witnessing these days.)😳

A simple homely charming girl who caught our eyes in its first sight!😊 ❤️Her simplicity, grace, inner and outer beauty, pure heart and all charmed us as the story progressed! When she balanced out all relationships, in which her life revolved around, we couldn't help but taking some relationship goals from her! Every time she had become Rishi's ultimate "dhaal / shield, in the face of Rishi's flawed birth chart, saving him from every danger. 😳

And, she has undoubtedly become the epitome of self-sacrifice when she rescued Rishi, embracing death giving him a new lease of life. Even though she was a person of few words, we could always relate to her, as the character Tanu had such an emotional connection with the audience.

What can be said about two of the most lovable characters on Indian television? So much and then some! Rishi and Tanuja urf Sharad and Kratika have set the bar high for years to come when it relates to chemistry, charm, and beauty seen in a couple on screen.

Rishi and Tanuja's love story started off on rocky roads with much turbulence but eventually turned out to be one of the most beautifully portrayed love stories on tv. A love that has yet to explore so many dimensions and cross many boundaries yet one that has already had its fans swooning and dreaming about it day in and day out!

When Tanu died on the day of her marriage to Rishi, one thought that Rishi's life was over. And to him -- it was. Tanu dying meant he died inside as well. He closed off all emotions and extinguished his happiness -- for the flame of passion and desire that burned in him was only because of his Tanu. Little did he know, the many promises and vows -- the many KASAMS that Tanu took were in fact meant with all her heart.

Even in her last breaths Tanu vowed to Rishi that she would return. And so she did. Tanuja was born the day Tanu died and ultimately fulfilled her kasam of coming back just for Rishi.

But the road to finding out that Tanuja was in fact Tanu was a long and troubled road. Our Tanuja had to go through many trials to even get to where she is now. Since Rishi had already closed himself off to the rest of the world, it was impossible for him to look at anyone -- especially a girl -- with any interest. A ruthless boss at work and a soulless body at home, there was no way anyone could approach him.

But Tanuja was the one to dare to break that boundary. Caught off guard, Rishi reevaluated exactly what he was going to do about this spunky girl who didn't seem to know whether she was coming or going. Having come to his office for a job, Tanuja tried to get Rishi to accept her for who she was.

But why would Rishi ever do that when he had no trust in any girl for the twenty odd years he spent mourning Tanu? Tanuja tried her best but to no avail, and having had to stay in the Bedi House she had more troubles dealing with a person who continuously doubted her.

Rishi and the Bedis had not put their trust in Tanuja, knowing she came from Bani and Neha's home. Rishi further distrusted her because he thought she was Sandy's daughter. Things escalated to the point of no return when during a pooja the home set on fire and Tanuja got caught while trying to save Rishi.

Unknowingly and unfortunately for her, Tanuja was given Tanu's face during surgery and the hell that broke loose as a result was painful.

Distrust, miscommunication, disgust, doubt, blame, pain, and heartache. Those were the feelings that resounded throughout the Bedi House and especially within Rishi. His Tanu's face on someone else? What kind of sick game was Tanuja deciding to play with him?

Being caught in the middle of this mess, Tanuja had tried to take matters into her own hands after having been kicked out of the Bedi House. But receiving flak from Bani and Neha left Tanuja homeless.

Many incidents later Tanuja found herself back with Rishi. And this time the outcomes were much different. With Malaika in the picture Rishi decided to store away his feelings for Tanuja and marry Malaika in a platonic relationship.

But fate didn't agree with letting Rishi be with anyone other than Tanuja so that's exactly what happened. In a fortunate turn of events Tanuja ended up getting married to Rishi -- thanks to his father Raj.

There ensued the most hilarious and spunky relationship between a firecracker Tanuja and a Rishi who tried very hard to control his feelings for Tanuja.

He knew she reminded him of his Tanu in more ways than just her looks. And with each passing day that feeling increased. But despite the fact that Raj had tried really hard to get Rishi to accept Tanuja like he had Tanu, many factors went against them.

With Malaika's constant plotting with Shekhar, Tanuja faking her pregnancy to save Smiley, and the final straw being Bani revenging Rano by filing complaints against the Bedis, it became harder and harder for Rishi to fully accept Tanuja wholeheartedly.

Rishi had had his moments when he thought he had completely accepted her, and fallen in love with her. He showered Tanuja with all his love just the day before Bani played her plots by making her his in every way possible.

But Rishi Singh Bedi had to be taught a lesson or two in trusting the one you love. After he had distrusted Tanuja once again by blaming her for the family going to jail, Tanuja decided to leave Rishi.

And in the height of the moment Tanuja had her ultimate revelation -- she realized she was Tanu and that she had come back just for her Rishi! The happy and elated Tanuja could not contain herself as she thanked her goddess for allowing her to come back for her love. But unfortunate for her, Katiyani Bai told her about the bad omen that surrounded her and Rishi's relation. Tanuja had lost all hope for ever getting to spend her life with Rishi.

Little did she know, Rishi had become determined to find her and regretted all that he had said and done. A few mishaps later Rishi&Tanuja finally found each other and let each other know just what they meant for each other. Rishi let Tanuja know that he accepted her with all his love and trust without her having to clean her slate or tell him the truth of the situation. Rishi believed in her without her having to say a word and that is what solidified their relationship for good.

But Tanuja knew that she was not allowed to be with him for he would end up dying and so she refused to come back home with him. Rishi, confused as ever, didn't know any other tactic to get her to return so he proposed that they both get remarried. Of course Tanuja was having none of that so she ran out again disappointed and dejected that this is what they would have to do.

Rishi ran after her, and found her on the brink of comitting an act that would end her existence and he pulled her out of it only to put himself in the same position. This is the point at which they both knew what they meant for each other. Neither could they live without each other nor could they see each other with someone else. After another ordeal with Shekhar and Rishi's kidnapping, TanShi finally decided that they will fight for their love and would rather annoy each other to death than to spend their lives with somebody else.

Such is the life of Rishi&Tanuja and this is only the beginning. Though Rishi and Tanuja have found love at last with each other, Rishi is yet to find out that Tanuja is HIS TANU. But the beauty of their relationship is that Rishi not only loves Tanuja but trusts her with his undying devotion without the knowledge of her being Tanu.

This puts things into perspective as to what love means to Rishi Singh Bedi. Of course he loves Tanu as she was his first true love. She was the one who taught him the meaning of what it is to live a life dedicated to loving one person only. To give your heart and soul to someone for eternity. And she has fulfilled that vow unbeknownst to her Rishi. Their love has stood the test of time on many occasions and the ultimate win for the both of them is that they realize that they are meant for each other without any incentives.

Rishi's love for Tanu, and now Tanuja, has demonstrated that he is truly a one-woman man -- someone who truly loves unwaveringly and stays true to his word. He is a feisty lover, one who will not and has not bared to see someone hurting his love. Rishi and Tanuja have put their lives on the line for each other and every time it has brought them closer than ever before.

There could not be a better combination than that of the suave, sexy, business-minded, devoted lover like Rishi and the sweet, innocent, firecracker, emotional, and unwavering lover like Tanuja. There is more to come from these two, who we lovingly call TanShi and whose portrayal would not be possible without the powerhouse talents that are Sharad&Kratika.

but no i was wrong it was quite different from other ekta shows

Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki came at a time in my life when I was emotionally down and the fact that I chanced upon the show really uplifted my mood. Those preleap days in which the three musketeers ManShVi continuously entertained us with their hilarious antics and the sisterly bond of Tanu and Ahana really warmed my heart. It was that golden time that made me hooked to this wonderful show which was so different from the rest of the lot.

Kasam portrays true love in a totally new and unique light. There have never been such emotional and strong lovers like Rishi&Tanu/Tanuja onscreen and they have given us a reason to believe that true love exists. Kasam has entertained us, it has made us laugh till our stomachs hurt, cry till our eyes are red, fume till our heads explode, and dance to the beat of all their wonderful tunes. It has been such a powerpacked entertainer that one cannot wait to switch on their tv sets at 10:00 pm every Monday to Friday to get sucked into TanShiland again.

The sweet sisterly bond of Tanu and Ahana, the mastikhor lafanters Rishi and Manpreet, the level-headedness of Yuvi? The patakha villains Bani and Neha and Pawan-Saloni? Where would we be without Raj would can't go a day without adressing his kids as his "khotteys" 😆 and where would we be without the selfish, only-thinks-about-herself Rano!?! Where would we be without the spunky and firecracker Tanuja!? Who has made our Rishi believe in love all over again? Who would die for him in an instant if it meant he would be safe? Where would we go without our two lovebirds and their constsnt bickering and chik chik pick pick. Where would we be without Rishi calling her stupid and Tanuja calling him khadoos kahinke! 😆 Where would we be without their constant pranking and the vows they've made to drive each other crazy?! 😉😛 Where would we be without the constant plottings of Shekhar, Malaika, and now stepbrother Purav?

Where would we be without two people -- Sharad&Kratika, our beloved KraSha, who have taught us as Rishi and Tanu/Tanuja (or TanShi as we lovingly call them) that true love never fails. They've shown us the meaning of love and eternal soul connection crossing all boundaries, fighting all odds, overcoming all obstacles, and having their love and trust prevail?

I don't think I can express enough just how much I love this show for what it is and what it means to me. This show has given us so many laughs, so many tears, so many "I'm about to pull my hair out" moments that I don't know what I'd do without it!!! Sharad, Kratika, Zuber, Aditi, Lalit, Renee, Vijay, Vibha, Roma, and all the other cast and crew -- THANK YOU SO MUCH for giving us a powerpacked and entertaining first year of the fabulous show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki!!! May you all always keep your friendship bond strong and keep giving us such amazing episodes day by day. It has been such a fun ride so far and I'm sure it's only going to get more interesting here onwards.
