Every show that Zahid has come in, from Alvida to Zara Yaad Kar to Naimat, that I've started watching, I haven't been able to finish because I got bored, but not because of Zahid's acting; the script started to bore me.
However, in my opinion, Zahid literally embodies whatever character he has to play. It doesn't matter if he's an unfaithful husband, a young, up-and-coming politician, a regular ol' business worker or a straight up villain...he plays all these roles so smoothly, like he was born to play that one character. I think any actor who can play so many different characters so well in the timeframe of like 1-1.5 years is talented.
Abby won't like this part, lol, but that's the difference between Zahid and Sami to me. Both of them choose scripts that may not be the strongest, but Zahid breathes life into his characters. Sami, in my opinion, always acts the same no matter what character he has to play.
