There are people who spread joy everywhere they go. And then there are people who ARE joy itself, spreading cheer in so many hearts and bringing smiles to so many faces that a mere glimpse of them can make happiness happen to everyone looking on. This is how Vrushika Mehta was introduced to us - as our own little store of joy - every evening at first as Sharon and then beyond the half hour telecast into the rest of our lives, as Vrushika. We first fell for her as a beautiful dancer, full of energy and effortless grace, accompanied by a huge amount of raw potential. She would do contemporary and have us spellbound, marvelling at her lines and her flexibility. She would groove to Bollywood and make us all want to join her on the dance floor! And then we watched in awe as she transformed into a nuanced actress, her eyes and her face beginning to speak to us like no words ever could. It has been two years since D3 ended, and we have watched her grow even more since then, be it through full fledged shows or episodics, where she has given us nothing but her absolute best as a performer. She has made us proud every step of the way. And we hope she knows that our love and respect for her come from something much bigger than a television screen. No screen can capture the endearment, affection and on many occasions even protectiveness that we have in our hearts for her. Vrushika, you have filled us with warmth so many times just by being your own kind of crazy self, and we will ALWAYS love you. ALWAYS. So here's wishing you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Beginning - The Dancing Diva Sharon Raiprakash - D3
Aasman Se Aage: Vrushika began her career gracefully dancing in Aasman Se Aage in April 2012, where her talent and potential began to shine and pave way for an amazing future in acting, dance and more!
D3: As she gazed through the halls of Saint Louis College as the distraught Sharon on January 7, Vrushika transformed from the inhibited talent to the diva Sharon, slaying the whole scene in 1 take as mentioned by Palki mam. The inner angst behind the heartless cover was showcased beautifully through her first dance in Yaadein, leading to many more amazing and versatile performances. Sharon Rai Prakash showcased several complex layers, each one instilled in all our hearts. The fiery unapologetic diva who knew her worth and the value of her team, and didn't approve anything less, or the disciplinarian who ensured she brings out the best in her friends, colleagues, and college. The kind soul who helped her friends in need, or the sweetheart who was willing to change her whole identity for her love, Swayam. And of course, the inspiring lover, who was determined to regain his trust, love, and support, even if it meant risking her own life for his well being. The woman who stood her ground yet always made the effort to improve and adapt. Vrushika Mehta portrayed all these qualities with amazing finesse, & presented the character beautifully through acting and dance. Her sizzling chemistrywith Shantanu Maheshwari, and iconic dance performances, gaining them immense appreciation and awards, will be cherished by all. Thank you Palki mam, team of D3, and Vrushika for giving us this amazing character and portraying it with so well that it will forever be an inspiring character.
