Day 3 of Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017 has been a starry occasion till now. Several celebs walked the ramp in the morning and afternoon shows. But the evening shows are the ones to look out for. The gorgeous Diana Penty kickstarted the evening shows as she walked the ramp for Payal Singhal. Post this, Vaani Kapoor took centre stage as she walked for Ritu Kumar. Both Vaani and Diana looked drop dead gorgeous and they totally stole the limelight from their talented designers.
Vaani Kapoor wore an intricately designed and printed ghagra. She paired it with a embroidered jacket over a golden bra top. We saw a lot of floral embroidery and prints on her outfit. She completed her look with a black choker, somewhat like what she wore in Befikre. Diana, on the other hand, was spotted wearing a kaftan tunic top paired with a embroidered lehenga.
Ritu Kumar's collection was one of the most best that we saw. It had a lot of variety including gowns, one pieces, jump suits and lehenge choli. Ritu gave a modern twist to various traditional outfits and we thought all of her outfits were intriguing. A few ensembles had embroidery, a few had prints, some made use of velvet and some made use of shimmer.
Payal Singhal's collection was a fusion of the west and India. We saw a lot of different kinds of kaftan tops, modern ghagra cholis, off shoulder crop tops and much more. Payal also showed off her embroidery skills in most of her outfits. She also made use of tassels and fringes to up the cool quotient of the outfits.
On the professional front, Vaani was last seen in Befikre and currently she is reading a few scripts. Diana was a part of Happy Bhag Jayegi. She is currently shooting for her next film - Lucknow Central. Anyway, check out all the pictures and videos from the show right here:
