A glimpse of their childhood
In park: 6:00 a.m
A boy is sitting on a bench under a tree holding his guitar, all set to play his tune.
(something like this ignore the background)
Just then a kid comes to him and asks him to start playing as everyone has gathered around. He plays his tune and everyone starts enjoying it. He finishes his tune and bids bye to everyone promising them that he will come back tomorrow. He leaves for his residence.
Scene shifts to Malhotra resident
7:00 a.m
Raj Malhotra is sitting on dinning table with a boy who is none other than druv..
Druv: Dad my monthly exam's result is out, I got 98 percent.
Raj: Well done my son well done, keep it up. He says patting his shoulder.
By the way where is your bhai?
Dhruv was about to answer but his eyes fell on manik.
Dhruv: There he is dad
Raj looks towards manik but as his eyes fell on his guitar he became furious.
Manik: Good morning everyone.
Raj: Good morning? Seriously manik!! He said sarcastically.
Dhruv: What happened dad?
Raj: What happened? See again he is carrying that useless thing! He knows that I hate that thing but he loves to angry me.
Manik: Enough dad! This is not a useless thing this is my life my dream my everything..
Even the servants were listening to their argument, but they were not surprised because it's their daily routine.
Raj: Manik do whatever you want to do but always keep one thing straight in your mind that neither me nor my name is going to support you in this line, its not easy to become singer, do din dhake khaoge lambi lines men khare hoge to wapas mere pas hi aoge.
Manik: Sahi kaha dad. Because even I don't want to use your name. I want to become singer on my own. Singer banne ke lie mera art hi kafi ha.
Saying this he left for his room.
Raj: Dekha? Dekha tumne dhruv? Again he misbehaved with me because of that music!
Dhruv: Dad please calm down.
Raj: Manik tumhare jesa kun nhn ban sakta dhruv? He said in a broken voice.
Manik comes in his room and bangs the door he then sits on floor and cries. He takes out a pic from his side table drawer and caress it.
Manik to himself: Why mom why did you leave me? Why can't dad understand that music is my life my everything. After you left this is the thing which has kept me alive. He cries very badly. A girl is watching him from window, she is his neighbor her room window is opposite to manik's room window. She is dhruv's classmate also. Her name is nandini. She keep watching him from her window because she has feelings for him but manik never noticed her that much and is unaware of her staring session. Watching him crying a tear drop fell from her eye also.
8:00 a.m
Manik and dhruv leave for school there they meet nandini.
Nandini says hello to manik he nods and leaves from there. Dhruv takes nandini to canteen.
Nandini saw manik in morning she knows he is upset but she wants to know what happened so she enquires dhruv.
Nandini: What happened dhruv? You look distracted?
Dhruv: Nothing much nandu as usual manik and dad had an argument over music that's it.
Nandini thinks: Kaash men manik or uncle ke beech sab thek kar pati.
With this I conclude my chapter 😛
