'Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka' to end on January 20 - TOI article.

Barely four months after it hit the tube, Sony
Entertainment Television has decided to pull
the plug on the TV show 'Ek Rishta
Saajhedaari Ka'. Launched amid much
fanfare, the channel had huge expectations
from it because of its unique concept.
However, the show is now set to end on
January 20 as it failed to climb the ratings
chart. The cast and the crew have been
informed of the development.
A source associated with the show told us,
"The makers had pumped in a lot of money
in the show and were expecting great
ratings over the concept of falling in love
after an arranged marriage. It failed to rake
in sustainable ratings, forcing the channel to
take the decision to wrap it up."
When contacted, Kinshuk Vaidya, the male
lead of the show, said, "I have no idea. We
have not been informed."
Producer Kavita Barjatya didn't respond to
our text message.

I m sorry but I had this feeling since two weeks when there were no promos and mahaepisodes of other show that it is going to end sooner than expected and now this news.

What is this 🥺 i dont know how to react 😭😭

Sony did this with other shows so it can do this with ersk too

ye kya hai sony aise kaise show band kar sakta hai😡...abhi tak toh hume saajhedari bhi nahi dikhi yaar😵 aur ye log show end kar rahe hai that too in 1 month..

god knows what's up with Sony these days, I sincerely wish they don't shut off ersk, itni Jaldi kya hai yaar, and I m sure if this is their decision everybody knows it from the crew

Guys lets wait..lets not panic..we should ask the CVS or kinshuk or shivya or any cast from.the show..they just changed the director of the show they cant close it like this 😡
