I think if someone says to me that to save me you have to announce you are nominating yourself then its clear is it not that to save that person I will be nominated.

It was only when Rohan went to Lokesh and told her something, she was ready to think about it again & told Karan to stop telling Bigg Boss that she won't do the task. Immediately after that Bigg Boss' call came again & Bigg Boss repeatedly and clearly told Karan that Lokesh might have misunderstood the task - the task requires her to give up the chance to be safe as she'd be self-nominating herself.

I think Karan completely understood what Bigg Boss meant but he tried to pretend to be confused to save himself... it's fine, all in the game!

Lokesh got carried away by what Rohan said.

I am seeing Lokesh as a cunning player now. Not so cute anymore.
She was trying to eat the cake and have it too. She thought she will save a celebrity and gain further friendship which will save her from further possible nominations or else she agrees to get nominated and be saved from further nomination. She wasn't clear about it hence the confusion.
When she realised what blunder it was she immediately wanted to make sure Naveen gets nominated. Only because she probably feels Navin is less popular than her and his chances of elimination is bigger than hers.
