Episode begins with survi n d family doing Bappa's Aarti early morning which wakes up kartik.. he comes down n asks what's happening.. survi recalls how he had reacted seeing d fire altar n hence puts d diya at Bappa's feet n approaches kartik with the pooja thali n asks him if he has forgotten that he is the one who had started this morning ritual.. our naive kartik replies he does remember(though he actually doesn't remember)... Lata offers d prasad (halwa) to him for which he holds out his hand in an odd way... Survi lovingly teaches him how to hold out the hand in the right manner... So the hungry boy is in love with the halwa n asks who made it.. lata tells him it's been prepared by survi... he asks for more telling survi at the same time to prepare loads of it on a daily basis for him.. seeing it as an opportunity survi puts up a condition that she would make the halwa for him everyday only if he makes friends with her... That's how KarVi become friends once again.. she then tells him to seek Bappa's blessings which he refuses(probably scared of all the diyas lit up).. survi takes him by his hand reassuring him all the while that she's there with him n wont let anything happen.. she takes his hand in a child-like manner n makes him touch Bappa's feet so to seek His blessings... N then adorns his forehead with the teeka.. he's still asking for d halwa coz he's damn hungry (I guess that is how kids are-forever hungry).. survi tells him to freshen up first so that he can have it later along with the special breakfast she's gonna prepare for him...
As kartik leaves for his room kishor tells survi that he's damn sure she's gonna set things right.. survi tells them that she needs their support... Tai watching everything from afar... In d kitchen lata tells survi to win Kartik's heart by making special dishes for him... Survi is preparing his fav kanda poha for breakfast... Kartik walks into the kitchen sneezing, holding a bat n tells survi to play with him since he has no one to play with.. survi refuses as she has to prepare d breakfast for him which gets him irritated.. he starts pulling her by her hand insisting that she goes along with him.. (enter those flashbacks)... aniket walks in n offers to play with kartik... Kartik accepts on d condition that he would bat first...
In the lawn kartik is joined by aniket n kishor.. aniket bowls to kartik but he misses out on quite a few occasions.. kartik gets hit by the ball, tumbles n falls n keeps complaining like a typical kiddo that aniket doesn't know how to bowl.. kishor tries to teach him to hold the bat but is shooed away by kartik.. on d next ball, the bat slips out of Kartik's hands, goes flying in d air (ok I hv actually seen this happening in cricket matches) but unfortunately lands on Kartik's head.. hearing d commotion survi rushes out of the kitchen.. sees kartik's bleeding forehead.. asks hema to fetch the first aid box... Seeing survi dab d antiseptic on cotton, he freaks out n screams n tries to stop her saying that it will burn n cause him pain.. survi reassures him that it won't hurt n asks him to hold her hand... She slowly cleans his wound n applies d bandage n asks him to opens his eyes once it was all done.. a completely scared kartik held her hand so tight that she was left with a bleeding finger (probably hurt by the ring she was wearing, due to his tight grip)... Everyone get back inside for breakfast..
Seeing all the commotion outside tai in d meanwhile instructs bindu to do something nasty... N so while everyone was busy tending to kartik, bindu stealthily puts chilli powder in d poha n chillies in d halwa...
At the dining table, kartik starts playing with the plate n spoons n everyone joins him... Enter bindu n Tai n everyone quitens up... Tai kind of instigating kartik as to y survi was taking so long to serve the breakfast... In d kitchen survi spots chilli powder on d floor n understands the mischief tai was upto... Lata comes calling n survi tells her how d poha was laden with chilli.powder.. survi n lata worried as to what do they serve to kartik coz preparing something else would take time.. at the dining table tai still instigating kartik, making him lose his cool... Survi comes with something special for kartik... The latter gets irritated saying ki it's neither poha nor halwa but a pizza... Survi tries to pacify him like a kid saying that she specially made it for him coz he hit great shots while playing cricket (like really!!!)... Poha n halwa is something that he usually has.. n pizza was made for his special achievement... (Ok so our kartik is so innocent that he ends up believing anything n everything that one has to say)... He loved the pizza n such an elated child he is, that he ends up hugging survi(survi's reward of the day... Tai almost got a heart attack)... So now survi has to make pizzas n poha n halwa for hungry boy kartik on a regular basis...
Lata walks in with messed up poha n halwa.. survi serves the poha to tai n halwa to bindu n asks them to eat... Both are obviously reluctant... Survi tells kartik to intervene n he innocently stuffs Tai's mouth with the spicy poha... He even orders bindu to hv the "chilli halwa"...
Precap: tai instigating kartik telling him survi's dad was responsible for his dad's (read: Tai's husband) death n he should make survi pay for it... On d other hand Kishor warning survi that Tai can go at any lengths to instigate kartik against her.. considering wat had happened during breakfast...
