Guys we need to understand that the Ramayana we heard is what twisted by patriarichy. That's why Sita's AP, BP and all given importance. Telling even the chaste Sita had to do AP and Ram abandoned her because she crossed Lakshman Rekha or the Rekha set by Sanskriti.
It is the fear of patriarichy that if woman cross the Lakshman Rekha their power system will go. If you look by SKR perspective that is what happens. Sita crosses the Rekha which finally leads in establishing the new maryada by Ram.
