I am curious to know if the other couples in Ramayan had kids or not. Never read about it anywhere. But seems odd that the three brothers and their wife would not have kids of their own and that their whole life was about their brother Ram and Bhabhi Sita.

The three couples did have kids. It's mentioned vividly in Valmiki Ramayan, and there's also some background information on what happened to them.

The three sisters became pregnant soon after Sita, one after another.

Luv and Kush were the eldest of the cousins, but after them were born three sets of cousins, two boys to each of the couples. Whether they all were twins or not is unknown.

Taksha and Pushkal to Bharat and Mandavi
Angad and Chandraketu to Lakshman and Urmila
Subahu and Shatrughati to Shatrughan and Shrutakirti

Folklore says Lakshman and Urmila also had a daughter, the only girl child born to any of the brothers, called Somada, but all the main texts do not mention her.

Each of the boys had kingdoms of their own, established by their father and uncles. Ram, as King, was actively involved in the establishment of each kingdom of his nephews. The capital cities were named after them.

Ram and Bharat conquered the kingdom Gandhara, and Bharat's sons established a capital city each in it. Taksha ruled Takshasila (the same Takshasila in which Chanakya was born). Pushkal ruled Pushkalavati.

Lakshman's son Angad got the kingdom Karupatadesh and Chandraketu got the kingdom Chandrakanta.

Shatrughan, who had killed the demon Lavanasur (unlike what SKR showed) won the Kingdom of Mathura from him and ruled that for a very long time. Afterwards, he bestowed that kingdom on his sons Subahu and Shatrughati around the same time Ram bestowed Ayodhya on Luv and Kush.

Ram divided his kingdom into two parts. The northern part, Uttar Kosala, was given to Luv, in which he established his city Shravasti. The southern part, Dakshin Kosala (which also included Ayodhya) was given to Kush, in which he established his city Kushavati, though he moved back to Ayodhya after some time.

Ram was a very active King and warrior. He conquered many kingdoms during his rule and spread the fame of Raghukul far and wide. Only after his sons and nephews were settled in their own kingdoms did he do jal samadhi.

Here is a citation from the text:

RAMAYANA - CONCLUSION

In the concluding portion of the Uttara or Supplemental Book, the descendants of Rama and his brothers are described as the founders of the great cities and kingdoms which flourished in Western India in the fourth and fifth centuries before the Christian Era.

Bharat had two sons, Taksha and Pushkala. The former founded Taksha-sila, to the east of the Indus, and known to Alexander and the Greeks as Taxila. The latter founded Pushkala-vati, to the west of the Indus, and known to Alexander and the Greeks as Peukelaotis. Thus the sons of Bharat are said to have founded kingdoms which flourished on either side of the Indus river in the fourth century before Christ.

Lakshman had two sons, Angada and Chandraketu. The former founded the kingdom of Karupada, and the latter founded the city of Chandrakanti in the Malwa country.

Satrughna had two sons, Suvahu and Satrughati. The former became king of Mathura, and the latter ruled in Vidisha.

Rama had two sons, Lava and Kusa. The former ruled in Sravasti, which was the capital of Oudh at the time of the Buddha in the fifth and sixth centuries before Christ. The latter founded Kusavati at the foot of the Vindhya mountains.

The death of Rama and his brothers was in accordance with Hindu ideas of the death of the righteous. Lakshman died under somewhat peculiar circumstances. A messenger from heaven sought a secret conference with Rama, and Rama placed Lakshman at the gate, with strict injunctions that whoever intruded on the private conference should be slain. Lakshman himself had to disturb the conference by the solicitation of the celestial rishi Durvasa, who always appears on earth to create mischief. And true to the orders passed by Rama, he surrendered his life by penances, and went to heaven.

In the fulness of time, Rama and his other brothers left Ayodhya, crossed the Sarayu, surrendered their mortal life, and entered heaven.

Luv's capital city was Sravasti, and present day Lahore was a part of it, yes. In that era, Aryavrat was huge, and eclipsed many of present day middle-eastern countries.

As per SKR, the kids of the other brothers don't exist 🀒
It'll be completely epic if the other kids turn up from nowhere in the final episodes directly as full-fledged adults - having never seen them as kids πŸ‘

It's unfortunate that people think the three brothers were childless because of this show. Their kids actually played a pretty important role in Ram rajya, and they were a source of support for Luv Kush. The four sets of cousins were set to be as close and loving as their fathers before them. They would constantly travel to each other's kingdoms on a regular basis, and help each other out in the administration.

The Raghukul was spread far and wide, and was quite renowned thanks to the individual kingdoms of the eight cousins.
