Mehar's brother marries Shanti, kidnaps her and then tells Karvi to divorce each other and Kartik to marry meher. Karvi hatch a plan to get Shanti back and after some difficulties succeed. The night Kartik "marries" Meher, Karvi also discover that Survi is pregnant. As Meher and Ranveer are being arrested. Ranveer proceeds to shoot towards Survi but Tai saves her and suffers memory loss..
Kartik gets his property back and the whole family waits for Karvi baby. Survi gives birth to a baby girl and Kartik names her Khushi. The baby is kidnapped and the kidnapper demands ransom. Kartik proceeds to take help from Police and goes to meet Kidnapper. However, Survi reaches the spot too and seeing that the kidnapper has ponted a gun at Khushi and gets scared. Survi takes a gun from a policeman, points at herself and tells the cops to back off. This, instead gives Kidnapper a chance to flee. Kartik searches for Khushi but fails. At home, they receive a box of bloodied clothes and the kidnapper calls up to say that he has killed their daughter. Kartik blames Survi and vice versa. kartik throws Survi out of the house. It is revealed that Tai had been faking the memory loss and planned the kidnapping. Khushi, too, is revealed to be alive and Tai tells kidnapper to take her away. At the railway station the kidnapper and Survi come face to face but unfortunately Survi had not seen the face of the kidnapper and her baby. The kidnapper hands the baby girl to her and flees. Survi adopts her own child thinking that her father has nothing to do with her and names her Khushi.
7 years later: Survi is a working woman raising Khushi in Nasik alone as her Shrikant has died. On the other hand, Kartik's life revolves around his sisters' kids. Khushi and Kartik meet and get into argument but later, Kartik develops a liking towards her. Survi's boss and friend pleads to her to come to Mumbai to save his business and she agrees on Khushi's insistence. Karvi meet in Mumbai and the blame game continues with Kartik torturing Survi. The kidnapper makes an appearance too and Tai discovers that Survi had been raising her own child and tries to keep Karvi separate. Kartik meets the kidnapper who tells him that Khushi is alive and Survi kept her away from Kartik to punish him. After some more plotting Karvi fight in out in the court. Khushi discovers she is Karvi's real daughter and vows to bring Karvi back. As, Survi-Khushi move to Barve house, Tai discovers that Khushi knows the truth and tries to kill her. The incidents bring Karvi closer and Survi soon confronts Tai who reveals the truth. Survi goes on to bring out Tai's truth. Karvishi reunite and Tai and Pyaare are thrown out of the house.
Tai vows revenge from Kartik as he did a 'shraddh' of the promise he made to her. Tai along with Pyaare and a woman named Kalindi attempt to murder Kartik as he returns from a meeting. Kartik is thrown off a cliff and we are introduced to Krishna, who looks like Kartik and he enters Barve house to get the property for Tai. Survi doubts Krishna and with Kishore's help searches for Kartik who shown to be alive and under care of an old couple. Survi finds Kartik and discovers that Krishna is Kartik's long lost twin. With help of a CBI officer who wants arrest Krishna, Karvi attempt to tell Krishna the truth. They succeed but Krishna is manipulated by Tai against Karvi when the CBI officer dupes them. Survi and Kartik however succeed in taking their property back and getting Kalindi, Vikram, Krishna, Tai and Pyaare arrested. Tai manages to get away and kidnaps Khushi during Karvi's anniversary celebrations. She tells Survi to shoot Kartik to save Khushi. However, with Bappa's blessings, Survi saves Karshi and Tai is finally arrested.
6 months later: Kartik is seen returning from work. He meets a mysterious woman and offers her help. Kartik soon gets suspicious and follows her into woods. He is about to fall of a cliff when 2 policemen save him. One of the policemen claims that what Kartik saw was a spirit. Both Kartik and his partner ridicule him but it creates a doubt in Kartik's minds On the other hand, Aniket returns home after 8 years, his leg has been healed and he reveals he wants to marry a girl. Kartik returns home and shares his doubt with Survi who tells them the girl was a robber as the necklace Kartik bought for Survi is missing. Kartik again encounters another spirit and starts getting anxious. He reaches home and sees the spirit there but Aniket comes and reveals that she's Iccha, the girl he wants to marry. Kartik gets scared and tries to convince everyone that Iccha is a ghost but no one believes him. Iccha reveals to Kartik that she was duped on her marriage day and it's her wish to get married.. Since Kartik himself offered help, he must marry her and come her world. Kartik refuses and Ichha threatens to kill SuShi and so Kartik sacrifices himself to save their life. Survi starts suspecting something is fishy, she reaches the Haveli where Kartik is sees Kartik-Iccha getting married and tries to stop. Survi gets late. Iccha takes Kartik away and locks Survi in the burning Haveli. Survi wakes up in her bedroom 7 days later and her family call a priest which angers Survi as she believes they need to take help from police. Kartik on the other hand wakes up in a house and is shown to be in a depressing state. He pleads to Iccha to leave him but she constantly threatens him. On family's insistence, Survi agrees follow instructions from the priest to get Kartik back.
