Lol I posted edits.. they disppeared πŸ˜†. Now it's fine.

And yes, I agree with you. Their best scene for me also is rain scene cuz it so unexpected and we saw Ayna speaking up after so long. She said it all in front of Mohsin, so now he has her at her 'worst'.

Secondly I equally admire their scene when they get ready post marriage. That was actually a very beautiful scene.

In both scenes, intensity was there. But in different ways..

Again, this episode was the perfect bit of continuation of Aina-Mohsin's struggles. Yesterday, we saw at the very end of the episode how Mohsin reflected on how wanted (and beautiful!) his new bride was, and now he's giving her a hard time A) because he is now aware of just how hot of a commodity she is and if anything, it's making him insecure and B) it's in his personality to be overtly harsh.

But I LOVE how Aina is shown reacting to his ego and pride. She doesn't talk back; she just shuts him up with some simple truths i.e., "The dude was here to pay rent; here's the money." And she obviously flusters Mohsin, too. The way he distractedly and embarrassingly looked for the gate guard after she told him about the rent was too cute and perfectly done.

Goodness, I know everyone comments on it but Aina and Mohsin's chemistry is brilliant! When Mohsin came into the room while she was sleeping...him just looking at her...UFFF! And I loved when Aina woke up and was about to ask if Mohsin needed anything, but when she realized it was like 2 am (and what could a guy want at 2 am? πŸ˜‰) she was like "nah, fam, I'm going back to sleep". haha, I see you writers, trying to sneak some PG-13 into a PG drama LOL

Before I forget, Mohsin's inner dialogues were beyond wonderful. Him saying to Nadia that he feels unfaithful whenever he looks at Aina was beautiful, as was his admission that it's not just the kids, HE needs Aina too :( I felt like tearing up. Think of the cinematography of that scene. The camera panned very slightly over Mohsin's bed, showing us briefly how empty it looks with one person missing, wordlessly setting the scene perfectly. What great attention to detail!

I used to give Sajjal a pass and thought Faraz was decent, but I feel so bad for Aina that they're taking Maaz from her. Geez, guys, have a heart.

I think honestly all of Pakistan screamed in agony when Mohsin was about to suggest sleeping together in the same room right when Aina realized Sajjal and Faraz were leaving. At least that's what it felt like. I was like NOOO!!! Hear him out, Aina!! But of course she had more pressing concerns, and rightfully so, so she had to interrupt him and run away. But gawddd...

Navin does huge emotional scenes beautifully (still love her scene in the rain), but when Mohsin was suggesting her spending more time with him in his room (by the way---him saying he didn't tell her to permanently shift into Tabi's room was so perfect and such an in character way for Mohsin to express himself), Navin's minute changes in expressions like how she raised one eyebrow as if to say "r u serious u want to be husband-wife now?" were beyond perfect. Such subtle, good acting even with her back to him.

I was even intrigued by the Annie-Imran scenes today. Hira Hussain did a great job in the beginning scene where she reflected on her past actions and how everybody was paying for them, and there was no winning in sight for anybody. What a beautiful, powerful dialogue that made you feel for the villain. And as much as I hated her for what she did, her scene with Imran today made me think "Dammit, Imran, stop being such a jerk to her!" even though she deserves everything she got.

Again such a wonderful show. Such a great episode. Next week it looks like Mohsin and Aina really are left alone, and I hope Mohsin can be there for her like she's been there for him.

Its so much fun to watch a show when you come back to read reviews likes these. 😳

Yes it is odd and weird but in reality cousins are not your actual siblings at the end of the day. It is like calling any random woman Khala like Sajal n Ayna do in this show as well. Bit she isn't REALLY their khala, so here the thing is that, can cousins bhai is a way of showing respect cuz they are elder, not because they are sach mein siblings.

Yet if cousins call each other bhai and not live together, it's fine. But here, Ayna and Mohsin have been living 'together' so yeah here it is a bit awkward and they even showed it in a nice way. But, it was a marriage of convenience so they did it.

In real life or in normal situations, I am so not into cousin marriages πŸ˜• LOL so yeah..

RisingAsh and Fobby-FoSho thank you for articulating beautiful reviews! It's was a pleasure to read those reviews. I won't discuss any further on Mohsin's monologues as you guys have said it all...

Just an analysis about Mohsin and Ayna's relationship...

Moshin's character is shaping nicely after his nikah with Ayna, it is in my opinion that whether he acknowledge this or not - he is developing emotions toward his new wife and this is something he doesn't like or feel comfortable with it. Because something is stirring inside him, which he didn't experience with anyone else not even Nadia. I would argue that his feeling toward Ayna is genuine and more respected compared to his feeling with Nadia, since he does acknowledge ayna's feeling more than Nadia. This he feel guilty about it, Nadia had been good to him so he feel it is unjustice to able to love or feel for someone other than Nadia. The mother of his children, so he put a face, pick unnecessary fights with ayna and is adamant with Faraz not to interfere.

Yet when he argued with Ayna, afterward, he is worried about her welfare but tried his hardest not to make it obvious. Come and think of it, Moshin was always been protective toward ayna from the beginning. She was never far from his mind, even when Nadia was alive, eg he asked about her when Faraz and Sajal came to visit them to introduce Maaz. When Nadia complained that they left too soon, he disagrees. He replied - it was good that they left otherwise ayna will be alone. It's was also interesting to note that while he criticised Ayna himself in his home, he didn't like it when other males have done this eg Imran 's father and Noman. He boldly defended her honour with anyone who have said otherwise, yet privately he expressed his mistrust and uncertainty. To put it simply Ayna confuse him, she bring the best and worst parts out of his self. Even though Moshin said to Ayna before their nikah that he felt awkward since he never thought of her that way or as his wife. This is because as a man of honour, he never allow himself to. In his mind and heart, Ayna was forbidden and off limits. He want her dignity as a woman and their relation to remain intact. She meant a lot to him more than he realise or acknowledge. Even Nadia was surprised to see how much Ayna meant to him which he replied of course since she is his family. The nikah changed their boundaries which is making him feel uneasy and vulnerable. The feelings that perhaps once masked is starting to slowly come out. The day he realise his love for her and accept this, he will be the husband, who she deserves to have. Ayna is better for Moshin in many ways that Nadia isn't. He had met his equal in her. She challenge him to think and reflect on his thinking and behaviour therefore slowly making him become a better person compared to his previous self. He never had that with Nadia. With Nadia he bark orders mostly or she assumed him in some ways. With Ayna, he bark orders to gain her attention but also want to know her opinions since he know she had that intellectuality to do so. He is curious about Ayna, even more now that he is her husband.

As for Ayna, she know Moshin is better than Imran. This was clear from her conversation with Imran, indirectly she told him that she can trust Moshin more than him. That he is better man that Imran will ever be. She know she can trust mohsin with her life and this is something she can't do with Imran. This devastates Imran, that the man who Ayna once can't stand is now someone who she regard highly and above him. This is how low he had fallen from her eyes.

Both Moshin and Ayna are two headstrong characters. They are different and yet similar to each other in many ways. They are vocal in their opinions and cherish in aiming to keep their family together. i can't wait to see how they will come together. Loved the way the writer is developing their characters and relationship.

The precap was interesting and loved it! For the first time in his life, Moshin will witness Ayna in her lowest moment and that too in an expressive manner through leaning on him for support. Her husband is all Ayna had now, she had lost everyone else in her life. They all either left her or abandoned her. She leaned toward her husband, subconsciously afraid that he too may leave or of what to come. She can't bear anymore pain. Anyone can tell from observing Moshin's face that he is stunned and confused since he is used to seeing her so together and strong. He never saw this side of his wife. However, it will be the moment where he will come to the conclusion that there is more to Ayna which is kept hidden from him. He will soften up toward her. It already happening...the way he quickly and unhesitatingly catch her to hold her, looking very concern and yelling her name out was a sightseeing.

Thank you very much @Charmgirl for this deep analysis in Mohsin and Aina's characters.
You highlighted a period in this show which I didn't watch yet, I am happy to read that Mohsin unknowingly was always protective to Aina.
I hope once Mohsin learns the hidden truth it won't be too late. in fact I am praying that Aina tells him the truth herself, This will be better than him descovering it.

Any way It is really a very beautiful story with deep meanings. Writer did an amazing job.
