Because it just wasn't good timing. We watched them develop for 24 episodes before they got married, then we watched them struggle with growing feelings for another 4 episodes. Finally, when we think we'll see just a bit of them as a happily married couple, we get fastforwarded and don't get to see any of their special moments. Maybe if some of the pre-leap development was shown post-leap, but you had to squint and believe to try and see some positive development in MoNa post-leap.
I've said this before but man, if there was just one drama that I wish didn't do a leap, it was this one.
