PROLOGUE-

Hey guys...

I am here with the prologue of this story.

It was 7 o' clock in the morning.

Two people were sleeping in each others arms on a King size bed.

They had sex the previous night and were in naked state.

The girl had a sweet smile on her face .

She had clunged onto the boy as if he would disappear if she left him even for a second.

Both of them were covered with a duvet but it was hardly covering the guys bare chest.

The girl's sleep got disturbed by the continuous ringing of her alarm.

She got up and saw the most beautiful sight which brought a huge smile on her face.

The girl saw that the guy was sleeping with his lips parted just like a small kid.

She tried to get up but the guy had protectively held her. So she reached out for her mobile and clicked a picture of the guy sleeping.

The guy didn't move an inch.

Then she freed herself from the guy and went to freshen up.

As soon as she entered the bathroom, the guy got up .

He was actually pretending to be asleep.

He took his mobile and dialled a number.

Guy- Hi guys... She will be downstairs any moment. Jaldi aajao.

Then he disconnected the call and went to another room to get ready.

The girl came out after taking a shower and found the room empty.

She went down stairs and found the guy talking and laughing with his friends discussing about last night.

As soon as the guy and his friends saw her they started laughing.

Girl- Aap sab yahan??? Aur aap log has kyu rahe ho?

One of the friends said - OMG. How can anyone be so stupid? We are laughing on you.

Girl- Humpar? But kyu???

Other Friend-

Yes tumpar.

Tumhe Laga tha ki tum ek rich ladke ko apne pyar ke jaal me fasalogi aur zindagi bhar Uske paiso Par aish karogi.

Aisa soch bhi kaise sakti ho tum?

Par tum shayad Janti nahi ki hamare friend ko fasana itna aasaan nahi hai. Kyunki hum Uske saath hai . Tumhe kabhi tumhare is khel me successful nahi hone denge.

Girl looks at the guy and said- Aap Kuch bol kyu nahi rahe ho. Aap to jante hai na ki ye sab khel nahi hai... Kal raat...

Guy- Oh Comeon Baby kal raat Jo Kuch bhi hua it was all part of our plan to teach you a lesson.

But I really enjoyed it.

I must say you are really good in bed.

And don't worry... Tumhe kal raat ke paise miljayenge.

Saying this he handed her a blank cheque.

The girl now realised her mistake of trusting the guy.

Guy- And if you want we can do it again some other time.

Girl- Enough... You are disgusting. I trusted you and you broke my trust. Nahi chahiye mujhe tumhare paise. Aur rahi baat tumhare ghatiya offer ki to ye kabhi nahi hoga Kyunki aaj ke baat tumhe meri shakl tak dikhayi nahi degi. Mai jarahi hoon. Hamesha hamesha ke liye. Yahan se bahut dur.

Saying this the girl tore the cheque into pieces and ran away from there.

The guy looked at the direction in which she went for a long time and got lost in his thoughts.

His friends broke his thoughts and said-

Let's celebrate guys... She is finally out of our lives...

And all of them headed to the swimming pool area to celebrate.

Phewww...

Hi guys...

I present you the first chapter of this story.

CHAPTER -1

Manik's p.o.v:

"Damn this Mumbai traffic especially at 4pm. I just hate it."

"It's been an hour since we are stuck here and the car isn't moving.

Not even an inch. It's not that we haven't been caught up in such traffic before but today was something different.

I couldn't figure out the reason for this uneasiness I have been feeling since the time I got up this morning.

And on top of that my phone was beeping continuously .

This Soha (P.A. of Manik)is such a pain in the...

Forget it. Why am I even thinking about her???

But why not after all it was her duty to inform us beforehand about the deadline of recording Fab5's song.

"It's alright Manik , we will get there ,when we get there. Stop cribbing like a small baby.

There's nothing we can do. Don't get worked up. It's alright." Cabir who was beside me( on the passenger seat) tried to pacify me .

In a way he was right. I had tried

a lot of things to try and stifle my anxiety over the past few years but nothing seemed to work in my favour.

I need to get a grip of myself. Atleast infront of my friends who had never left my side even for a second for the past 4 years .

But how do I tell them that deep inside i am lonely and this loneliness kills me, kills me to the core. My heart yearns for love... True and Genuine Love.

The kind of love I saw in her eyes years back.

I closed my eyes and her face flashed infront of my eyes and my lips curved into a smile.

I was brought into reality by a tap on my shoulder.

I turned back and saw that Mukti had a questioning look on her face.

"Sogaya kya??? Chal abhi. The traffic is cleared." said Mukti.

Indeed the traffic was cleared and some idiot was shouting on top of his voice from behind our car.

I ignited the engine and drove to our destination.

We were welcomed by Soha and the recording studio manager.

"Sir you are half an hour late. As you are going to be on air for this song recording,please hurry up" Soha said.

I gave an angry glare at her and she hung her head low due to fear.

"Listen you tumhe to hum baad me dekh lenge. First we need to get ready. Dhruv baby help me out na" Aliya in her sugar coated tone pleased to Dhruv.

And Dhruv as always went behind her to the makeup room.

The manager led me and Cabir to the changing room and Soha followed Mukti to the girls changing room.

I got ready in no time and tuned my guitar as Cabir wasn't ready yet . He took almost equal amount of time as Mukti and Aliya.

I nodded my head in disbelief on seeing him take so much time.

Finally we were in the recording studio.

The camera was set and we were ready to roll.

We took our positions and I sang the opening lines of the song and the others joined me.

After thanking him and signing the contract, I bid Bye to my friends and drove from there to

get some me time.

As always,none of my friends tried to stop me .

It was 8pm and all of them knew that every month on this day I spend some time away from others.
