The episode starts with Khsuhi waking up and seeing karvi asleep together close. She wakes them up and they're surprised and happy to see her alive. They ask her who did this. Khushi says that it was a woman. Then she notices Tai's bracelet and immediately recognizes her the said woman. After hearing this from her, they all scold Tai who vainly goes on ranting to clear herself off the blame. Being outraged, Kartik shuts her up and asks why would khushi blame if she's innocent. Tai says that she'll go with the police.
Meanwhile, police enters with fingerprint report and all are stunned to know that it's Lata who is culprit according to report. Tai smirks and remembers how she had tampered with the fingerprints. She makes a show of supporting Lata that she can't do this evil job. Jatin and Kartik go with the evidence, while Tai smiles looking at Pyare meaningfully. Lata is broken emotionally thinking how they can believe that she did this. She tries to talk to khushi, but Kartik asks survi to take khushi upstairs as she's panicked. Survi is hesitant but complies anyway. He apologizes to Tai for blaming her. She asks why did Lata have to do this. Jatin points out how she doesn't take well Survi and khushi's return. However, Kartik doesn't get Lata arrested. He asks Jatin to go take back all complains then declares that khushi is his daughter, so if anyone tries to harm her anyhow, they will have to face his wrath and consequences. Tai begins to plan her next move.
Survi comes to Lata to see her crying. She consoles her saying that she believes that she can't do this and promises to find out the real culprit.
In his room, Kartik notices that khushi is restless in sleep. He blames it on Survi. She asks him to forget about their fight for their daughter's sake. Survi puts khushi back to sleep. Kartik watches them intensely, recalling their past times. When khushi is sleeping soundly, Survi tries to go. But Kartik stops her asking if it's necessary to go. He chatters how this could have been their room naturally, but now, they can share for khushi's sake. Survi lies down on the floor to sleep. He asks if she can be sleeping on the floor then tries to bring her to bed. They bump and fall on the bed on floor. A romantic eyelock and hug occurs accidentally. Their past close moments come as flashbacks. After a while they compose themselves. Survi gets up to lie beside khushi on bed while Kartik sleeps on floor-bed. They stare at each other for a while. As khushi is scared of dark, he asks Survi not to turn the lights out. She says it's his fear, not khushi's, and she doesn't get scared as her mother is here with her. Kartik says her mother was there before too, still she faced the trouble.
