The episode begins with khushi's emotional blackmail that she's an orphan.. KarVi keep fighting coz of her ... So she ought to be sent to an orphanage... KarVi in tears... Survi apologises to her.. promises never to hide anything from khushi... Kartik keeps reiterating she's his daughter n not an orphan... Judge interrupts their emotional outbursts... Khushi whispers something in judge's ears... The judge tells khushi to speak fearlessly.. khushi puts a condition that she either stays with KarVi or goes to an orphanage.. on getting no response judge tells khushi ki it seems KarVi still don't wanna live together for her sake.. just then KarVi say they're ready for it in unison... Judge says that she will give khushi's joint custody to KarVi.. n that KarVi will be under constant vigilance n if they fail in their duties towards khushi, strict action will be taken against them... This leaves tai n pyaare flummoxed... It just hit them like a bolt out of the blue...
Back at barve mansion tai n pyaare r conversing in d storeroom with tai drinking as usual... Someone calls out to tai that kartik survi n khushi hv come... Kartik insists that Tai does their grahpravesh again... As Tai is doing d Aarti she recalls the day survi had walked in as a bride... As jatin walks away.. survi stops him.. tells him that now that she's here she has no clue what's in store for her... Jatin reassures her that as a friend he'll always b there for her..
At the dining table Riya scares khushi with bramarakshas tale n khushi gets petrified... N then sonkush advertise d upcoming show... How lame the whole sequence was... Anyways moving on...
Kartik's room is done up with khushi's bed... Her toys.. he tells survi that her room is ready downstairs.. she can stay in his room as long as khushi is awake... N then she can move to her room... Survi retorts back that this room was surely not done up in a day n she's damn sure kartik had made plans to steal her khushi... Both start bickering yet again as to khushi's whose daughter...
Just then kartik spots khushi standing at the door... He hugs survi all of a sudden telling her how he missed her .. how much he loved her... With survi pushing n shoving him all this while.. kartik whispers to her that khushi is watching them.. as survi walks away.. she sprains her foot n almost falls.. n kartik is all out to her rescue "oh my darling.. you hv hurt urself".. he lifts her in his arms... Once he realises khushi has gone away he drops survi on d floor...
Khushi thanks Bappa that KarVi r her parents.. she apologises to Bappa, confessing before Him that she had to do this drama to bring KarVi together.. if she would've revealed about the real reports back then, then karvi's fight would've escalated further...
Khushi then heads to the storeroom for d real DNA report... But is surprised when she doesn't find it there... She now knows for sure that there's an enemy in the barve mansion... On the other hand tai is shown burning the report... She hears a thud coming from the storeroom... As she heads for d storeroom she bumps into survi.. by the time their conversation gets over, tai sees khushi heading to Kartik's room muttering that she needs to tell d truth to her parents..
Kartik is making khushi's bed for d night.. khushi comes n addresses him as papa... Kartik is over d moon... He says nothing in this world has given him so much happiness.. khushi says I know you r my dad... The DNA reports were fake... Kartik is stunned... Tai n pyaare overhear their conversation...
Precap: tai is shown shoving khushi into the fridge.. survi in the living room feeling something amiss...
